Was also easy to find and street parking is available. The loft is inside a house, renovated to accommodate three or four chairs. Bright, clean with a friendly vibe all around. Prices are good and reasonable, and well I have already scheduled an appointment for cut and highlights, so I am super happy with the service and level of skill that Kennedy demonstrated. So here's the 100% honest truth. I had Kennedy as my stylist. I got there on time, in fact a bit early and Kennedy showed up about 45 minutes late to my appointment. Everyone was calling her trying to reach her wondering why she hadn't shown up yet. Tiffany finally got ahold of her and I guess she had overslept. It was very frustrating. Tiffany had to start on my hair or else all Kennedy's appointments after would be badly piled up. I understand having rough days everyone has them especially coming from someone with insomnia, I guess I just didn't expect it from anyone else especially a professional. I was worried that she wasn't going to show up so then I had gone for nothing and I would have had to bus another hour home and it had already taken me an hour to bus there. She came in and smelled like alcohol and cigarettes so I don't know if she was hungover or what. Here's the positives though. She was extremely kind. She listened to me, she was patient when I asked a million questions. She offered me beverages. Tiffany was extremely nice as well even when I was extremely worried about my hair and even private messaged her on Facebook (when I shouldn't have) panicking that my hair wasn't going to come out right. I don't recall her apologizing though for being late, and I would have appreciated that. But I do appreciate her coming in with a great attitude when she could have been in a bad one knowing she was in trouble and already off to a rough start to her day. But the problem is my hair turned out really patchy and horrible looking. Both Tiffany and Kennedy claimed it was because it's a "process" like it was step 1 to my hair goal but I'm sorry a full foil shouldn't come out like that. There were full on strands that were missed completely untouched by the bleach like the bottom half of my hair was not done at all. I went to several stylists afterwards and they looked at my hair and they said it was a disaster. They said that Kennedy should have never left my hair looking like that. My hair on top was bleached perfectly but the rest of it was completely copper you could see a definitive line where it didn't lighten the same. It never lightened enough on the bottom half from about my eye level down and several stylists I saw said they would never have left me leave looking like that let alone didn't understand why underneath was completely untouched and yes I did get a full foil not partial. Also Kennedy put a leave in hair mask after that was supposed to protect my hair from the bleach damage somehow but my hair had never felt so dry and sticky and disgusting in my life. It felt like it was covered in glue and like straw. After I washed it out it felt back to normal. My new stylist used a bunch of oils and stuff that made my hair feel better then it ever has. Also when I got a Brazilian wax there Tiffany totally missed spots on me and it drove me nuts. I will never be coming back to The Hair Loft. Update: I'm reposting this review because my pictures got taken down off the main album but they left everybody's else's because apparently they can't handle criticism and proof that they did a horrible job and wanted to hide my photos from showing up to people and I think that's disgusting. I got an email from Yelp saying my photos got featured and now they're all gone from the main album but everyone's photos who has reviewed the salon are still there. I hope they don't get taken down again after I post this. Also, the day after I posted my review the boss Tiffany followed me on Instagram as if to be petty like I saw what you did. I just got my hair done yesterday here at the hair loft and I loved my experience. I searched for a reputable salon online near me and had no problem in choosing this salon because they had no bad reviews. I booked my appointment with Kennedy and I was nervous because I was a previous bleach blonde that went brown and had waited one year to go back blonde. I didn't really know how to explain what I wanted to Kennedy without showing her pictures and telling her I wanted to look like I've been living on the beach just beautiful beach blonde waves well she somehow new exactly what I wanted and told me what it was and I said yes that! She was amazing from the start. She didn't rush she took her time and told me everything she was going to do to my hair before she did it which is so professional because I have been to salon where your just thinking like oh my what are you doing?? So that made me so comfortable. And they even offer you coffee water or wine and that was a plus, so fancy haha. But when she was done she showed me my hair and my jaw dropped it was a wonderful transformation from dark brown to a beautiful beach ashy blonde! I will continue to use her for as long as I am in the area I highly recommend her she's the sweetest person and really has a gift. read more

I've had a hard time finding someone who can cut my curly hair well ever since I moved to Wenatchee. Kennedy gave me the best cut I've had since I moved here! I have been looking for a stylist who can be honest with me and tell what would work and what wouldn't. She did just that. I came in with some ideas for cut and color and she (with my permission) took charge. I even considered bangs and she was honest and told me she would advise against them right now. I think she could tell that I'm a bit tame and probably wasn't ready for a huge change and it turned out just like I hoped. I love my hair! I felt like she really listened and gave me a cut and color I would be happy with and look good with. I also appreciated that there wasn't a bunch of forced small talk. :) She was super friendly, but I loved how she didn't feel the need to fill every silence or keep a conversation going the entire time. Maybe I'm the only one who appreciates that? ;) Prices are excellent, location is nice with lots of parking, I like the atmosphere of the salon and the products they offer. Kennedy was super quick to get me back in when I wanted to add a few more layers and she didn't make me feel bad about it! I've been to The Hair Loft 3 times over the last three years and have never been let down. My first appointment was for a color correction that was done by a hair stylist who I don't remember the name of, it took hours but was able to get my hair almost back to normal. My second and third time were with Cassie, who I can officially call my regular stylist. She is awesome and really cautious that she doesn't do anything she can't take back. I hesitantly asked for my hair to be cut about 5 inches to my collar bone, and she took her time only cutting 1-2 inches at a time making sure that's what I wanted to commit to. She was so patient and fixed it three times until it was the length I was comfortable with and was more than happy to do so. I came for a cut and color. I think my stylist did a good job on the cut and color. The problem I have is that they snuck in hidden fees when I went to pay. My stylist styled my hair afterward with fancy curls, something I was hesitant about from the beginning, as I had asked for something "low maintenance". After this "free styling" they charged me additional surprise fees because my hair was long and they had to "use more product for the style". After leaving, my hair was so covered in product I had to wash it twice to get it all out. The product also irritated the skin around my neck. This was especially upsetting because during my visit, the stylists were having a conversation about how much they hate how other places charge extra 'hidden' fees. Then, within the same hour, they charged me additional fees without my prior knowledge. Plus, I walked out with a crispy, high maintenance hair style. read more

She constantly nails my hair every time, even when I come up with a crazy idea like bangs... she lets me know what may and may not work for me no matter how much I think it would look good. I just moved to town and was a bit nervous about finding a new salon. This was the first place I've gone to out here and I was insanely disappointed. I had made an appointment for a cut, color, and an eye brow waxing. I wanted her dye my hair back to my original hair color. My roots are pretty grown out so you can clearly see the color, which is a deep brown. She did it black. Like as black as a pair of leather boots after a shine. But she didn't dye the whole head, she started an inch from the scalp, so I can clearly see the brown and then BAM black. And for my cut I asked for some layers. She literally does 3 or 4 snips and says she's done and starts blow drying. I ask her to trim the ends, because that should have been a given. She does it after she dries my hair and once again takes 3 or 4 snips. My hair is THICK. It takes more than that to cut my hair properly. She ends up making a straight line across my back with my hair, but even if that's what I had wanted she failed, because it was sloppy and choppy. I was already so frustrated looking at the color that I didnt even realize that she didn't show me the back and when I got home I looked and it is terrible, like I'm-wearing-a-ponytail-until-I-get-this-fixed terrible. I'm going to call tomorrow and ask to have it fixed. Will update if it can be remedied read more

She took my hair from a bad box dye job of black to gorgeous bright blonde (over a few months of course but really pretty at each stage). She works miracles and is awesome to talk to.
