Depending on your ailments, or lack thereof, this is either heaven or hell. If you're poorly or stricken, there are saaaaah many pills, lotions, potions, rubs, treatments, ointments, steroids, and unctures with which to smother yourself. They seem to be pretty good on price, too, they use the same neon tags / screaming prices strategy as JB Hi-Fi, it's all a little overwhelming, especially if you're already sick and are having a hard tome making decisions. If you don't already have epilepsy, you may after coming in here. The security really is a little OTT, and I'm not a man that uses a hackneyed phrase like OTT lightly. We get it, you've got a job to do, but I'm carrying a see-through shopping bag with oranges in it, do you really have to root around in there like a pig looking for truffles? I mean, probably not. They chemists at the back are great at asking if you want the generic version of a prescription medicine, which is usually quite a bit cheaper than the brand name which is really great consumer-friendly practice. read more

Being followed around the shop and then getting harassed by the same security guard who followed me (with several checks on my fully closed lunch bag, gym bag and handbag, being told to put my things on the floor) is crap. He said he's just doing his job. I asked why everyone else, none of whom he followed, were walking or with the other security guard not "doing his job." I will take my business elsewhere. This is Sydney, not backwater Alabama. The manager completely excused it, saying they do "random" checks on some customers and that I just happened to be in his path for patrolling the shop. Because the path from orthotics to hair products to tampons... totally rational. Particularly hovering at each of these sections for the duration of my stop. This is a horrible, humiliating experience that I won't soon forget. Also amazing to see the company pawn the question off on security company who responded with a standard non-apology and said that while serious, I have complained without proof. If you are brown, do go to the shop with a camera, witnesses and affidavits. Of course, checking their own security footage or asking their staff was out of the question. Or perhaps not. This chemist has very small aisles and they are not all they are worked up to be. In my opinion all the fluorescent little prices are terrible. Much prefer Roy Young Chemist at Westfield Chatswood. read more

Late night hangover, self-prescribed makeup treatment or baby needs emergency, these guys have it all. Like so many chemists in this country, Chemist Warehouse claims to be the cheapest and best stocked. They might have the added benefit of having a network of outlets, and I admit having bought a number of items here, but if you're after some saving compare them with Roy Young in Westfield's. Not saying Chemist Warehouse is to be avoided (by no means). read more

Absolutely sick of being harassed by the security guards at this place. Today, the checkout person forgot to give me a receipt (which is understandable as it was $2), and the security guard said I had to find the woman who served me (who incidentally went straight to lunch after serving me) and get her to produce a receipt. He blocked my exit so I couldn't leave. So sick of being treated like a thief every time I go in here. NEVER COMING BACK! read more
