Just letting folks know that the practice has sold, prices are skyrocketing! Our dog who never…read moremissed a heartworm prevention pill, was refused to just refill, we have never been forced to get bloodwork before, we always signed the waiver. I was told new owners required YEARLY bloodwork now. I called my old out of state vet, where we are moving to, and they still allow waivers, but I had already had my dogs check up, and vaccination done, so to avoid having to repeat an office call, I had to let them draw the blood to get the medication. Guess what, it was negative, but just away for them to squeeze another $58 out of me. This office is part of the problem here in town, people can't afford to be responsible pet owners, the prices are getting to high. They clearly haven't spent money on the office space, it's really just a dumpy little tiny place. Makes me sad that the care is now just how can we grab money, not being happy the dog is being well taken care of. We see a big difference in the time we started there, new owners seem very corporate minded.

Dr Brown saved my cat multiple times during his stomatitis flair ups that cause my little guy to completely stop eating, literally starves to the brink of death. My cat has required multiple emergency visits for dehydration. Dr Brown prevented this little guy from having to be put down on more than one occasion. I cannot express enough gratitude. His quality of life had deteriorated to the point that our entire family was heartbroken watching him suffer. When I arrived, instead of handling the situation with compassion and professionalism, the staff wanted to debate whether I should rehome him and repeatedly emphasized that he was my responsibility. If euthanasia was something they were unwilling to consider. During the examination, the staff appeared confused about the source of some bleeding and seemed uncertain about what was causing it. Meanwhile, my dog cried out in pain every time he was touched. Watching him suffer while feeling that the staff lacked both urgency and compassion was incredibly distressing. What made this experience even more difficult was that I was in the middle of moving my mother into assisted living that same day. I was already overwhelmed emotionally, dealing with a heartbreaking situation involving my mother's declining health, and I expected at least a basic level of empathy and professionalism from the veterinary staff. Instead, I felt judged, dismissed, and treated without compassion during one of the most difficult days of my life. The experience was upsetting and left me feeling that my dog's suffering was not handled with the care, respect, or professionalism that such a situation deserved.
