I have a small storm drain line that serves my gutter system and a floor drain on the back patio under my deck. Over time it fills with the sand that slowly wears away from my roofing shingles along with any other bits of moss or debris that winds up getting flushed down my downspouts. I had this same company out 4 years ago when I first bought the house to flush it all out with a hydro jet. They did a great job and the price was very, very reasonable. Unfortunately, this past week's storms let me know that it was again clogged to the point of being unable to keep my patio from flooding during really heavy rains. I called them up again and was really pleased that they could get to me in a couple of days (it wasn't an emergency and they may have been able to get to me quicker if it were, but I didn't ask). I was even more pleased that the same gentleman who came out the first time was still with the company and would likely be the one to come this time as well. And he was. Loel was an absolute gem. He showed up on time (few minutes early...). He did an incredibly thorough job. Both times. This job was hourly and he didn't dally but got right to it. He was obviously highly skilled and efficient with years of experience and was a heck of a nice guy to boot. If I recall correctly, I think I had another of one of their guys out to clear a tub drain with a traditional auger snake after we bought this house as well and that also was a pleasant and reasonably priced experience Anyway... I can highly recommend these folks based on multiple interactions over several years. I hope your experience with them goes just as well.

This was no small feat given the weird crawl spaces in my basement, that he had to crawl into in order to replace some pipes. Somehow he was amazingly cheerful about this! Of course, given my 1890 house, fixing that pipe uncovered a clog further along in the pipes that was stopping up my sink. So today James and Mason came out, cleaned it all out, showed me what the pipes look like on their very cool camera device,and now everything works like a charm. I thought the prices were very reasonable, and the estimates accurately reflected the final cost. All along, everyone I dealt with was great, from Marcus on the phone setting up the appointments, to Peter/James/Mason doing the work at the house. They were friendly, professional, explained everything, left everything neat and took care of the small details, and were very nice to and amused by my dog, who was doing his best to "help" their efforts. Haha, "help." Overall, this is now my only go-to place for plumbing/drainage problems - which are likely to be a recurring thing given the age of my house. I forget which other maintenance person recommended them, but I'm glad they did. I've had leaking pipes in the past where the leak was so bad that the water had to be shut entirely off, and the companies I dealt with then could never tell me anything more than "well, we're really busy, we MIGHT be able to get out there next week" etc. It was always nerve-wracking, calling different places to see which ones could come out first. I can't imagine that being an issue with Evergreen, given how prompt they've always been.

They…read moremisdiagnosed a sump pump outage, they tried to slam us into another sewer pipe replacement that was not necessary, they tried to put together a rain drain job that would not have worked due to slope and they presented a job that would have involved tearing up the basement floor. They will ALWAYS find something that they portray as being urgent when often it is NOT as it seems that they want to create jobs for the company. Get a SECOND opinion before you hire them. They will prey upon you if you don't look out.

Dave, owner ofPederson's LLC PLUMMING came out last night to check on our leaking hot water tank. We discussed the needs and he gave me a quote. He was going to return in the morning at 9:00 to install it. He also told me the cost and informed we can make two monthly payments if we wanted to. The next morning our doorbell rang at 8:00. I did not see Dave but there were three other at the door along with two large service trucks. I told them they were an hour early and one of them said they were able to get here an hour early. By 9:00 or so they were done. A little while later Dave, who was here last night said another company found out and jumped ahead of Dave and (in my words) literly stole the job from Dave. This other company misrepresented themselves and interestingly never gave us a price. Later Dave showed up to apologize what happened. In essence the other company misrepresented it self which can be construed as fraud and mis-representation. I would think the contractors board would take an interest in this.

No call the day of or before, despite it showing and stating the appointment was booked. My advice: dont use so many technology advertising/booking tools if your business doesnt have the capacity to integrate them into your schedule properly. People will use booking tools you provide and expect them to be honored the same as a booking over the phone.

He ordered more than $1600 in extra fixtures he knew we did not need so that he could collect his commission from Morlan's, and promptly quit the job, claiming we were not ready. (Another plumber came in the next day and did the job with no problem). I returned the excess materials to Morlan's, which credited the full amount to Mario's account. Mario never refunded me, and replied with belligerent rants each time I reminded him of his obligation. After 6 months, I filed a CCB complaint and he failed to respond to the CCB mediator. I have had to file a court order and am awaiting judgment.

We used Bassin Plumbing for a total second floor master bath remodel at the recommendation of…read moreGeorge Morlan plumbing. Unfortunately, I trusted their recommendation and didn't check them out with the CCB. Had I done that, I would have steered clear as he has had previous (and recent) complaints. After my master bath was completed, I noted water leaking under my sink and my shower water didn't get hot. They came out and corrected these issues. I didn't use my bathtub for almost a month as other remodel was being finished. When I did use my bathtub for the first time, I could hear water leaking the entire time I was in the bath. I had no idea how big of an issue this was until the the next morning, when I went downstairs and had water leaking through my ceiling onto my dining table. They came immediately out to investigate and after cutting a hole in my ceiling found that the leak was from the drain itself. Basically the water was leaking around the drain and pipes. The owner was initially apologetic, accepted full responsibility and assured us he would take care of everything. At this point, we were skeptical and had lost all confidence in this company and the quality of their work, as well as their work ethic/integrity. We checked with our home owners insurance, who said they would cover these damages. We offered to have our insurance company take over, if Bassin Plumbing was willing to cover the $500 dollar deductible - they could then "walk away". He declined, stating he accepted responsibility and wanted to take care of it. Over the next several days as they were repairing the drain, the owner and his employee, Tim, started to place blame on anyone and everyone - deflecting from themselves and the work they did. It was so unprofessional and just added to the stress we were already experiencing. For example, saying things like "you must have bumped the tub knocking the drain loose". Really? They also tried to blame the tile guy - stating if he'd grouted around the drain, the (entire bath tub full of ) water would have leaked upstairs on the bathroom floor instead of down stairs through the ceiling causing all the damage downstairs. Really? Had they put the drain in correctly, set the tub correctly and properly tested everything - there would not have been a MAJOR problem. The tile guy had NOTHING to do with the plumbing - which was the cause of the leak - not the grout or tile or anything the tile guy did or didn't do. Also, since all this occurred I've looked through the owner/installation manuals (they left) and discovered they did NOT set the tub per installation instructions. I also learned you are suppose to fill the tub for 24 hours to test for leaks - this also wasn't done . I did question if they tested ANY of the plumbing - come on, a leak from a sink, a shower that doesn't get hot and now a major tub leak and I'm suppose to believe they did proper testing? I'm calling BS. The evidence speaks for itself! After all the drywall and painting work was done to repair the damage done by the leak, the owner of Bassin Plumbing refused to pay. He reasoned that the tile guy should have to pay for half of the cost. However, at the time of this review - we haven't received even 1/2 the cost of repairs. The cost of repairs was really nominal ($1150) and less than I expected and only a small fraction of what I paid this plumber to do such terrible work. It's unbelievable to me that he would be so unprofessional that he would go back on his word, not except responsibility for his work and make excuses and blame others for something he is so clearly responsible for. Had he done the right thing and taken care of this as he said he would, I would not be writing this review. I would have never recommended him and warned anyone I know looking for a plumber to avoid him at all cost - but I would have spared him a bad review. However, I genuinely feel writing this review is the responsible thing to do to warn others, as I wish I'd been warned.
