Although they were more busy than usual my doctor Jennifer Bhulanja DDS skipped her lunch to fit me in! They have taken me through an excellent dental plan, which after several years of care and improvement, moved into Invisalign. My teeth are nice and straight now. TLDR: unbelievably HORRIFIC surprise charges WILL happen to you if you go here. They don't mail or email you a bill though. No no no they will wait till they can threaten you with collections, give you ONE call and threaten you to pay them over $200 before that day at 3pm or there will be "consequences". I asked for an itemized bill as I NEVER received one and she refused. Not only that, she wouldn't even verify my mailing address! I had to look up the caller ID just to make sure I wadnt being scammed....it was this exact fake dentist's direct line. Also, as many people who have reviewed here will warn you, they will up charge you for a "deep clean" your first visit. 1) make sure you actually need one. And 2) just know that if you agree they won't deep clean you at all! It'll be a short 30 minute cleaning and the most expensive one you'll ever have. I am warning you please. If you care about your hard earned money, sanity, dignity, and frankly the financial security of your loved ones, you will go somewhere else. I have found tons of places offering these services that actually work like a dentist office and if it wouldn't take my review down to the algorithm, I'd post a list of about 20+ dentists that I would go to before here. Not even sure they're real dentists and I'm not kidding or exaggerating. I'm fairly certain this place is a scam. Please please don't go here. Please. FULL STORY AHEAD: do not come here if you can not afford hidden additional charges. The ONLY reason I chose this place was because it was covered by my insurance. But sadly the hidden charges you get after you receive all of your care are absolutely horrific, and not on par with an insurance covered location at all. I have never seen a cost like this at an UNinsured dentist let alone this one. I went in June and I am unbelievably saddened that I can not bring myself to go back. Literally a water pik is better than ever returning to this place. Everything seemed great. Like super great. Really nice people, great cleaning plan, etc. I was a little skeptical of their assertion that I needed specific work that I knew for a fact I did not need after getting an initial consultation from another dentist. Wouldn't have come here at all if that other dentist was covered by insurance. I received my care and paid a much higher bill than you'd expect at an office and paid up front. Now, hand on my heart my fiancé and I NEVER saw an additional bill get mailed to our house. The only way I found out was through one cryptic call from billing literally THREATENING me that if I didn't pay the bill before 3pm there would be consequences. Didn't even state what those consequences were. I initially laughed. I couldn't believe it, I thought it was a scam. What office doesn't send bills and verify the address?! Like what? I told her ma'am, I never even got a bill in the mail, this is the first time I've heard from you and now you're trying to pull $200 extra dollars from me before 3pm? What?! I had to look up the number on the call ID because I legitimately thought I was being scammed. I told her to transfer me to the supervisor. She said best she could do was have her reach out in 30. Never heard. She wouldn't even validate my address. It's clear this bozo made a mistake and tried to walk it back by throwing it on the patient and then threatening her, her family, her home, and livelihood (when you don't clarify "consequences," what else are you supposed to assume?!) So no i didn't pay over the phone. I never received a bill and I told her she's violating about seven different laws and policies straight from the medical board, department for consumers and the BBB. I told her if she'd like the money, verify my address and resend the bill. She said she didn't "have time." Lazy crazy lady. I received a collections bill two days later. I called a lawyer who told me to just pay when I can but those "consequences" will never kick in due to the low pay this woman sold to collections. So yeah. Didn't do anything but make them look like real jerks and soon get slapped with a BBB complaint. Maybe this woman should have just talked to me and sent a legitimate bill. These people are fear mongers and greedy and scummy and I will never touch it again with a ten foot pole. Absolutely horrific. Don't go here. Do not: they will try to drive you to bankruptcy y just so they can keep taking advantage of patients. Stay far far FAR away. read more

I show up for an appointment to get a crown less than 3 years ago. I see a dentist I have never met before who gives me a Cerec crown (one day crown - much riskier, requires more oversight from the dentist to do all of the milling and make sure it fits perfectly in between all of their other patients). A few days later I need an emergency root canal underneath the crown because they had knocked the root - it was the worst dental pain I've ever been in and a total nightmare, not to mention expensive. My new dentist just went to replace the crown because a cavity had grown beneath it which should not happen if it's placed properly (and crowns should last much longer than 3 years). She got in there an informed me that the entire tooth had rotted away beneath this crown - I need a tooth implant at the age of 37 because this dental practice messed my tooth up so badly. Better dentists will send away for a porcelain crown to be made in a lab by people who can take more time to build a perfect crown before placing it. If you have perfect teeth and just need them cleaned twice a year, sure, enjoy the Netflix and neck pillow. If you need actual dental work done, please do not trust this practice with your teeth. I sorely regret ever coming here and have permanent damage from their shoddy work. read more

I have now had three crowns restored including my two front teeth which is anxiety provoking in any instance. The care at Cherry creek dental spa has been amazing. Dr. Melissa Goodpaster and her staff have been very patient and supportive while displaying professional results. Yes I enjoy the warm blankets, aromatherapy and other perks, however the lovely personalities of Sanela, Kenzie and Zaiga (apologies for misspelling) and of course Dr. G their expertise has made my dental experience better than I could have imagined. Most importantly my Teeth look better than they have in years ! I was offered custom shaping and professional lab coloring for my front teeth and Wow! Didn't know this was a thing. The lab professional Viola was so skilled, she took the time to apply , cure, recheck and re-apply until the teeth were perfect. Also Dr Goodpaster made an adjustment so my gumline matched in front, and filed the teeth slightly, she is very talented and has an eye for aesthetics. I have a weird history with dentistry. My uncle and dad are both dentists, and I was a pre-dental student. The idea of switching to a new dentist (and new insurance) was nerve-wracking, but once I found Cherry Creek Dental Spa, everything about the business put me at ease. I saw that it had great reviews on Yelp, so I made sure my insurance would accept the practice. Booking a new appointment is easy on their website, and they overcommunicate via email, text, and phone about appointment reminders and paperwork. I appreciated the thoroughness! And their proactiveness to get my x-rays from the old office and have them snail mailed. (Yes, my uncle was my dentist and SUPER old school.) The office was tough to find at first because it's in a large building, but street parking was easy. A little nervous about finding spots for longer-than-two-hour appointments, but I'll cross that bridge when I get there. The reception area is welcoming, and the process for collecting insurance information was easy. Overall smooth patient experience. I love that this office has only state-of-the-art dental technology (plus Netflix and headphones) and the hygienist and dentist Dr. Abakumov were the sweetest people. They explained my treatment plan and took away all the shame I grew up with around my oral hygiene. I have some serious hesitation when choosing a dentist as I had an oral procedure go poorly years ago leaving me with loads of dental anxiety. Cherry Creek Dental Spa has made going to the dentist comfortable for me for the first time in years. When I come in I'm always greeted with friendly smiles and the main lobby is very relaxing. During my appointments I always request the heated lavender neck pillow which does wonders in calming my nerves as well as a cozy blanket and massage chairs offering max comfort. On top of that, they offer a moisturizing hand wax which makes me feel like i'm at the spa and leaves my hands so so soft (it's also super fun to peel off). They have headphones and Netflix available so during your appointment you can pick a movie or show and tune out. The hygienists are so friendly and understanding of patients with dental anxiety. First, let me say that I've been going here for 6 years. I'm still going but have started to look for other options. The reasons are: 1. Missed diagnosed a problem with my tooth. Well, didn't exactly misdiagnose as they didn't know what was wrong with it and I suffered for 6 weeks, ultimately, getting the tooth extracted. 2. They could not be more concerned about pushing products if they tried. I'm soooo tired of that. $45 mouthwash......$150 toothbrushes......dental floss made of straw or something....on and on. 3. Always follow up begging for reviews. UGH 4. Basically never open. Early off on Friday.....lunch closure.....closed two days for training (in sales I'm sure). I don't know any dentist that operates on hours like this. After reading all I've written, I'm done with this practice. I want an excellent dentist, not a salesperson. read more

Dr. Goodpaster and her amazing team are the real deal, and I should know, as I have spent A LOT of time in their office during the past three years! It is a beautiful office and as comfortable as can be. After my former dentist moved practices across town in 2018, I came across Cherry Creek Dental Spa and was blown away with the kindness and professionalism of every single person on the team. It turned out I needed a ton of dental work (due to my former dentist's negligence) and I ended up spending at least 24 hours of my life in the dental chair over the course of two years (prolonged because of a TMJ/jaw problem I developed independently and eventually had surgery for so that I could open my mouth wide enough to finish all of the work). After I finished my initial treatment plan, I have been diligent about going to my twice yearly checkups. For reference on the amount of time I've spent there, I've gotten through three seasons of Queer Eye on Netflix, which I have watched exclusively in the dental chair. Also my hands were in beautiful condition from all of the paraffin treatments. :) These visits were not always pleasant of course, but the staff did everything they could to make me feel comfortable, and Dr. Goodpaster went ABOVE AND BEYOND. I've never met such a compassionate and giving medical provider. Special shout outs as well to Barb, Senela, and Alishia. I've referred a few people and my husband is now a patient. This place amazing! I am someone who historically, has hated the dentist but this place and the people are absolutely great! They are so friendly and accommodating here that your anxiety melts away. I mean come on - it was fabulous. They are friendly, professional, and all the other buzz words without sounding cheesy. Went to a first (and last) appointment. Assistant was good, dentist was okay, administrative staff demanded that I sign a document and misrepresented the contents. It was purported to be an acknowledgement that I had reviewed a treatment plan when in fact it contained a consent to provide the services. When I pointed this out, the response was "we won't hold you to it." I prefer to deal with professionals who are honest, transparent and treat the patients interests at least equal to their own. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ADDENDUM: Very shortly after I posted the above, the lead administrator from the practice called me to explain that they have new software in place and didn't realize that the consent language was on the form and agreed that it should not have been there and that they will correct the problem. That should have happened when the mistake occurred, not only after it triggered a bad review, but credit should be given for a prompt and sincere effort to correct the mistake. read more
