My husband bought me a beautiful plant in a glass container about 3 years ago. It started declining, so I took it in and they offered to repot it for me. A minimal charge and my plant began to thrive again. Then the glass container broke when being moved. I took it back and they repotted it again in a new container for only $27 including the pot. I also was given great advice on how to get rid of plant fungus gnats, something I've never had an issue with until recently.

They told me they offer one-year tree replacement guarantee when I made the purchase. Upon arrival half of trees were barely alive. After the nursery planted the trees, I was shocked when they asked to be paid $700 in cash for the service. A week later, two of the trees they planted died. I called Pokey's, they told me they will schedule to come by my house to replace the dead trees. It has been well over two months and I still have not heard anything back from them.

The place is smaller than Girard up the street and has a smaller collection and is not as well kept. Many of the plants I noticed looked a bit droopy. They do have a large above ground Koi pond with all sizes and prices of fish. It is so big they built a wooden bridge so you can walk over it and peer down at the fish below. They even had one tank with "award winning" show Koi that were expensive but beautiful! The lady behind the counter wasn't very friendly at first and seemed bothered when we asked for help. After we started talking she warmed up and two other employees appeared and were quite friendly. We didn't find a fountain in the garden or their book that we liked so we ended up purchasing a pot that we are going to make into a waterless water feature.
