We drove far out of way to meet with Jeff, the owner of Rec Nursery, he came to us highly recommended. Jeff told us he was really busy and he would have to get back to me to let me know when he could start my landscaping job. I waited 2 months and did not hear back from anyone. I recently called Jeff to get an update. He told me that he was no longer doing landscaping work and he is only selling plants and trees wholesale. I let him know that it would have been nice if he told me he was not interested in doing my job and not stringing me along. Since Jeff sells to landscapers, I asked him if he knew anyone that he could recommend, he said he did not. Unfortunately, I have found that many of the landscapers that I have worked with, in central Florida, are typically unreliable and do not focus on customer service. This is such a shame. I am still searching for a fair and reliable landscaper near Clermont, FL, that will show up and handle my 5 properties for me.

They told me they offer one-year tree replacement guarantee when I made the purchase. Upon arrival half of trees were barely alive. After the nursery planted the trees, I was shocked when they asked to be paid $700 in cash for the service. A week later, two of the trees they planted died. I called Pokey's, they told me they will schedule to come by my house to replace the dead trees. It has been well over two months and I still have not heard anything back from them.

Upon arriving my friend was nearly in happy tears. We drove around back to the greenhouse area... There are signs to follow and we poked our heads in. We saw Smiley busy at work yet she greeted us quickly and with, you guessed it, a smile . Immediately my friend and Smiley bonded over all the orchid proper names as we were guided through the green house. There are so many gorgeous plants and flowers here... It really is an amazing site to see... and smells to smell. You can tell Smiley really has a passion for these orchids and other herbal plants. Quite honestly I get the feeling everything that Smiley is involved in is done out of passion and kindness. You can see this in her work and her many acts of kindness. She really was a joy to meet and she filled our day with priceless information on orchids and herbal plants. Each plant varies in prices from super low and affordable to much higher for large or rare options. Smiley is there to help you choose. It was raining when we were about to load our car up with our goodies, Florida's hard rain so we stayed longer. It was during this time Smiley extended her time and knowledge about more of her herbal plants. I thank the rain and Smiley for all this precious time.
