I ordered an Acerola Cherry tree and loved it, blooming all over -continuously when I received it,…read moreso I asked for another Acerola but one that was High-C this time. Sonia said she would try to get it for me and let me know. She did. She even gave me the price I paid for the first one, as the price had increased so gave me a refund for the difference. I'd like to order more from them. I love A Natural Farm in Howey-in-the-Hills: they are the best!

A Natural Farm and Educational Center was founded in 2012 by French born Luc & Sonia Duytsche. The couple was inspired to create a natural, chemical free garden center by Luc's background at a Lake Country tree farm and at several other plant nurseries. A Natural Farm and Educational Center specializes in edible and medicinal plants. They have many varieties of fruit trees, berries, olive trees, avocado, carambola, coconut palms, banana trees, papaya, ginger and turmeric plants, fig, guava, dragon fruit, and so much more. It was really fun to explore so many unusual plants like Okinawa spinach and comfrey which can be used to treat bruises, osteoarthritis, sprains, and other conditions. The farm also has an indoor area where they offers free and low cost educational classes for both children and adults on topics such as sustainable farming, gardening and plant production. You can also schedule private tours and events. Follow them on Facebook and Instagram for all of the latest happenings.

The office staff to the folks taking care of my landscape needs are quickly responsive. I had my complete landscape, shrubs and trees, replaced after the winter freeze and Cory and staff did a great job with the Ixora and Hybiscus replacement. And the yard maintenance continue doing a great job with the mowing and trimming. I especially liked the way the gutter downspouts were integrated into the grass with theunslightly water lines removed. Good job guys.

December 2024 - 6 month update…read more We have now had the new ProVista St. Augustine lawn for 6 month so I wanted to provide an update. As a part of the contractors work AdvanceScape to assess and modify the existing sprinkler system. Two additional irrigation zones were installed. As a result I am downgrading my 5 star rating to 2 stars based on the lawn condition presently and the amount of work I am now faced with doing to get it back to an acceptable standard. They did a good job with the landscaping aspect however they fell short on the irrigation part. The modifications made resulted in one rather large area receiving overlapping spray from different zones and has caused fungus at the grass root level. At the same time there are a couple of smaller areas that are not adequately covered and results in stressed grass. I cannot make adjustments to the run times because of the way the zones are laid out. As I have recently learned what should have been done was a better assessment of the spray patterns and the rotor nozzles swapped out to ensure a matched precipitation rate across all sprinklers for specific areas. Instead, all of the rotors were installed with the default 3 GPM nozzles regardless of the spray arch they were set at. While the AdvanceScape team did a great job in the other areas they we contracted to perform I can no longer recommend them to install irrigation systems. They simply did not do their due diligence when designing spray pattern coverage and they do not follow up to see how the work is holding up.
