The front desk charged me as a playtime. Then when I called to ask about the charges she hung up on me. She didn't even properly discuss the issue. And when they said they had a promotion for 30% off and I had two kids, she said I couldn't get it off the transaction. She said I could only get 30% off of one kid. Then the other transaction was for the other kid. The place is cool, franchise is nice but horrible customer service. Bad experience.

While we were there, we called and mailbox is not assign and we email Shaun also. I guess the first RED flag was it took him around a week to even get back to us for this appointment. Place was not very secure too, someone could have easily came into the premises and took all the toys away.

This is the 5 star. From the moment we walked in the door, we were hit with a sense of both home and calm. The environment was all about calm, neutral colors, child lead art, plants, animals, and natural materials like wood, branches, leaves, and pinecones. When we walked past the kitchen, it smelled like fresh baking (the children were cooking with one of the teachers). On the rug in the adjacent area, an instructor was leading a group of children in a yoga class. It was almost comically amazing. We were lead through to the main activity room and talked a bit about the philosophy of the centre, where we learned that they follow a 'emergent' curriculum, which is apparently about learning the children's interests and building the curriculum to suit. Naturally. Though I wasn't surprised, I was still very disappointed to learn there are more than 100 families ahead of us on the waitlist. Still, we may get in depending on the circumstances. They offer Pre-School from ages 3-6 and Elementary from grades 1-7. My kids went here from pre-school all the way through grade 5 and it was an incredible experience. A early Montessori education really helped them develop their hard-working and inquisitive personalities. French is offered from pre-school on and their level will exceed most public schools except for French immersion schools. Both French language and culture is taught which is nice so the kids have a practical reference for use of the language. They have both class observations where the parents can observe their kid in the normal class environment and parent/teacher conferences. Year-end show is fun where the elementary kids all present skits, songs and plays for the parents at a nearby theatre. Competition to get into the pre-school program is quite stiff so register early to get on the waiting list. Dedicated, long-term teachers and staff, highly recommended!
