My dude is Chess. I've been coming here about a month and have never had a bad cut. The shop is welcoming to new customers and you don't get that awkward vibe like you do at other shops. The price is good. The environment is laid back. Typically play sports or a decent movie on the TV. They have about 6 barber seats. They have both male and female barbers/stylist, so they offer a wide variety of talent. I haven't seen any other barber/stylist produce a bad haircut. This is my new go to. So much, I Drive about 20 minutes up the road just to get a cut. Every experience is different, but I highly recommend anyone try this spot if your looking for a barber. read more

Came in on a walk in today (Thur morning after I messaged the shop through yelp (i got a response in about 10min). I"m growing my hair out so I needed a clean up and frame work for the style I"m going for. I had a picture and Chester (shop owner) was able to cut exactly what I wanted! Because I use to be a barber I was aware of every trace of the clippers and I can tell you it was all even every area!! Seriously the worst Customer service, walked in only one barber sitting on the couch rest of the shop was empty. The guy didn't greet us I thought he was sitting there waiting for a cut until he asked us what my son was trying to do to his hair. He was rude acted like we owed him the business. After seeing the reviews on Yelp, I brought a female family member here to get the back of her short hair tapered down. My family member took a big chance that I would pick a place for her that met her high standards. Once again, Yelp saved my behind and I can see why the reviews are so high! Chess was the consummate professional taking great care to make sure he understood what she wanted before he began and then tapered it just as she requested. My family member probably asked him about 50 questions to get a feel for the place while she was getting her hair tapered. He graciously answered all of her questions as he did his work. My boys have been going here for about 2 years. This barbershop is located in the same business center as Wrigley's grocery store, Dollar and Lady Cheryl beauty salon. This shopping center is full of local family owned small businesses!! I positively support my small business community. They have changed owners 2 or 3 times within the past 5 years. With that being said, these barbers play no games. They get you in & out. No more spending all day in the barbershop. The shop is very peaceful, sociable and has great vibes. There shop Taylor to all hair types. That's what's makes this shop so unique. I have a 8 year old his cut is $15. My 15th year old cut is $20. I do think they over charge for a 8 year old. But I don't trust to many barbers to cut my boys hair. Their previous barber moved out of state. So we tried this place and have been going ever since. Clean, precise hair cuts.
