I think my photos got deleted somehow but I managed to find a video I had. After the show i wondered up stairs and thought I grab some really good pictures which I seem to have never saved . But it was nice love the architecture details. One thing I would add is that the bathroom (at least the one upstairs) is not as pretty. I forgot to check out the downstairs one but I think I was expecting something grand or as equally nice as the theatre itself. Staff was friendly, I love that they have a box office to purchase tickets from a person before coming in if you don't already have one, instead of sending you to a screen. The whole experience was nice. I will be back for another showing soon!

The theater is smallish, maybe half the size of the Carpenter theater. There is a balcony. With the small size it seems like any seat would provide a decent view. We were about 10 rows from the orchestra and stage left (or right?) and the seats were fine. As for the show, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, pretty entertaining, especially the younger Scoundrel. Street parking. It is near Comfort, Tarrants...Depending on the night it can be a little shady or busy with people on that stretch of Broad St.

The blend of professional performers in the lead roles, coupled with our local performing company was an good marriage of talent, energy and entertainment. I had not attended this this theatre for almost six years. Although small in audience area, the layout and seats were comfortable. Valet parking allowed me to minimize unnecessary walking and added security. The bar was adequately stocked and the desserts looked quite delicious (I did not partake unfortunately). Criterion Cinemas is not to be confused with Movieland across the parking lot (although many…read morepictures here do just that). Both are run by Bow Tie, but Criterion shows limited release and indie films rather than the blockbusters at its larger counterpart. Criterion only has four viewing theaters, bathrooms, and a small concession counter. The theaters are very small, so it makes for an intimate experience. If you like sitting close to the screen you'll love it, because there's no other choice. For me it's a bit overwhelming, but I love their movie selections so it keeps me coming back. The seats are comfortable and it's usually much cleaner than the larger theater.

Each year more than 70 artists from around the United States come to the Science Museum of Virginia for one weekend in November. What I love about this show is that the selections tend more toward very artistic and one-of-a-kind. Although the group that chooses has tried to skew toward more affordable pieces in the past few years, this still isn't the place for a bargain. It's a place to invest in truly unique, handcrafted wall art, ceramics, jewelry, apparel, accessories and more. Every year I plan to splurge and buy myself at least one nice piece of jewelry. In the past I've purchased sterling silver jewelry based on exact replicas of flowers and buds, funky resin bracelets, hammered metal earrings, handmade purses and more. I cherish each piece and always get lots of compliments on them all. Because the show takes place right at the start of the holiday season, it's also a good place to buy gifts. Because the participation is limited and the event is more exclusive, tickets are a bit more expensive than your average shopping event: $12 each, but I think it's totally worth it for the quality of the art.
