Their agency fee's are reasonable - full charge for 1st tenant then £30 extra for additional tenant - some agents just charge you 2 full fees (not sure about the TDS charge though, as other agents I've been with used DPS and didn't charge us to protect our deposit)

Professional at all times, regular texts and e-mails to keep up updated every step of the way. Everything was dealt with in a timely manner. They were happy to facilitate viewings at our empty property, so we didn't have to, at no extra cost. Their fee is very competitive and unlike some fixed priced agencies does not come with hidden extras in the small print. They did not pressure us to take any of the very low offers we received, we have found in the past when an agency has a fixed price fee they expect you to take unrealistic offers because they will not gain financially by going the extra mile to get you nearer your asking price, not the case with Martin & Co.

If the impression they give is any indication of the service they offer they are very much to be avoided. It is never appropriate to be rude to a customer. I had a list of properties to make appointments to view and gave them the incorrect details. I was dismissed with quite shocking rudeness. When I called the London offices to complain the contrast could not have been more stark. They were polite, clear, attentive and very much concerned.

The other agent never kept me up to date on any viewing that had taken place at my property. I then approached Temples in Chester, who are in a different league compared to the national chain i was using. Simon for the Temples Office came to meet me at the property who was very polite and professional. Temples than had my property up on line with a lot better photos and much better description, my property was then let out with in two weeks and had £25.00 extra pcm the other agent was marketing it for for the last 4 month.
