Bought a car in December 2022 which was sold as serviced (not touched) with an MOT stating pass with no advisories. During the year it had four new tyres, a new exhaust, break pads and shoes and a head gasket all of which we put down to bad luck as it was an old car. However the MOT then threw up seven maor faults and two advisories including the potentially dangerous heavily corroded front sub frame.
The salesman Paul insisted these were because of the age of the car. I took a photo of the sub frame. He was still adamant
I asked which MOT company he used and he wouldn't tell me.
