It was a quick and professional visit. We did have a few small issues that needed to be fixed. Anthony was very upfront with the issues he found and the cost to repair them. I immediately regretted my decision when the installation process took two weeks! I had been pitched a two day install... But those two days were spread out amongst two weeks! During that time my yard looked like crap! The whole reason for getting sprinklers was to make the yard look better. Instead they did a careless job of digging and installing the pipes and cleaning up after themselves. Customer service at this company is also not the greatest. They are high volume and as a result you are not a priority. I wish I had done more research and paid a little bit more for better customer service.

The first year we used Ryan Lawn, there was a huge improvement. Ben, who takes care of our lawn, is a wealth of information and can answer any questions about your lawn or any trees and shrubs. I have 5 arborvitae that were struggling after a rough winter. I asked Ben about it and he fertilized them. They've each grown a full foot since the fertilization. My lawn, trees and shrubs are absolutely thriving. If I ever have a problem or question, I can get ahold of Ben between treatments and he's happy to help. Additionally, after talking with Ben about a tree in my backyard that is dying, he set up a consultation with Ryan Lawn's consulting arborist. I ended up the top half of the tree removed. This tree was approximately 40 feet high. I had to leave my home before the job was completed and when I came home, I could not find a single leaf left over from the job. They removed every piece of debris from my backyard, from the side yard where they were carting the debris away, and from my driveway. Seeing how much debris was around and then seeing it after the fact, I was impressed. Ryan Lawn is a team of true professionals that really care about customer service.

Over my 10+ years of continuous usage, I have…read moreasked multiple times if my bushes AND trees are being treated when they come for my twice a year service. I have talked to technicians onsite, and sent an email requests for this information. All along, I was told that BOTH bushes AND trees in my yard were being taken care of. I left it at that, and went on with my busy work travel/life. Now, I am WFH and I watched the Ryan Technician spray ONLY my bushes. I politely go out there and ask her why no trees... And she tells me the trees are not part of my program. I nicely said OK and that I would reach out to the office staff to discuss/understand. An hour later, I call the office and hear a familiar voice - it was the onsite technician - I ask if I have talked with her already today...she says no. I say again, your voice sounds very familiar...her answer the second time is yes, I did talk with you in your yard about an hour ago. Weird, but ok. I tell her that I have looked online and my program (that I pay for & have always had) is called the "Tree Program". She tells me that it's a funny name they use, because my trees are NOT part of that program, only my bushes. Imagine my frustration...so I tell her, can you look in my account and see how many times I have emailed about this over a 10+ year period. She tells me she cannot...that they have switched systems and did not "retain" any of the customer history. Again, imagine my frustration (and disbelief). I tell her that I would like to talk with the person that sold me the service - as I know he still works for the Ryan Lawn & Tree Company - because he told me everything was included in my yard. Keeping in mind that my online account with them says that I have signed up for the "Tree Program"...not the "Everything but Tree Program". She acknowledged that I had a right to be frustrated, said she would talk with the person that sold me the service. And that he would be reaching out to me within a day or two. That discussion...was over 4 weeks ago, nothing from anyone from the Ryan Lawn & Tree Company. Hopefully people reading this see it as a total watchout...poor service and communication. And lack of willingness to get to the bottom of an issue. There are lawn & tree services out there - one's that I hope have better integrity and follow through. Yes, I am canceling my service after 10+ years.
