It was an ok gas station. It only gets 3 stars because it was convenient to stop when my niece and nephew needed to stop to use the bathroom. It was decently clean but not the best. It's probably better than other options in the area but like other gas stations in the middle of no where, it isn't the most up kept! So you see Indian food advertised in southern Arizona and what do you expect? beans and Navajo fry bread perhaps. in fact this is Punjabi owned and operated. ok, so this was once another unexciting truck stop/ fuel stop. But now it's under new management. The food options were excellent for anyone who wants spicy food. meat and vegetarian combos are sold. meats are chicken or goat. vegetables are in abundance and change from day to day. roti and rice are good. homemade yogurt is great as are the teas. bathrooms are exceptionally clean. want something a little exotic to break up the road trip routine? go for it. read more

Stopped at this Shell to get some gas and the price was outrageous. I understand it's in the middle of nowhere so they can charge crazy prices but to be $1.50 more than anywhere surrounding within a 3 hour range is extreme. They had signs painted on the buildings and ads for "fresh jerky" or lots of touristy items. This place had nothing. The shelves were 90% empty besides 1 chocolate cookbook and some chips in the far left back. The doors didn't shut in the bathrooms and they were full of unflushed grossness. Really clean gas station with great snack and beverage choices. Very friendly staff. Very clean bathrooms. Local homemade salsas and other crafts. Great spot to let your dog out as well. Obviously the gas is going to be higher priced - they have the monopoly on the market being the only place for gas out here so, buy what you can and see if you can make it somewhere further along that's cheaper if you must. We were just happy to find a safe spot to fill up and stretch our legs before we ran out of gas. read more

HOW much further to Willcox? OMG, I have to pee!!!! Filling up on water and tea in Hatch and then heading home to Tucson required an emergency stop in Bowie. Clean store, large & clean restrooms. Didn't need gas. This store has the usual tchotchkes and Arizona trinkets but what makes this store fun is all the stuff from Dwayne's....beef jerky, brittles, stufffed olives, dried fruits, pistachios, nut butters and preserves, honey and god knows what else. And what made our brief encounter here even better was the sweet as Dwayne's honeycomb employee offering up samples of just about anything you want. She happily handed us various bites of different jerkys and talked about her favorites and the best sellers. Kind of a fun stop for us and we ended up buying 3 bags of jerky. Next time you're whizzing by on I-10 at 80 miles an hour, try stopping in Bowie and sample their goods. read more

The gas is expensive here ... but worth the stop. They have Olives, Honey, Beef Jerky and lots of snacks. The bathrooms are clean. The staff is nice too. I think they were a little weary at first, Black man and Latino woman entering the store all eyes were on us .. but after a few mins the ladies warmed up to us and gave us Jerky samples to try. Convenient but their pricing on their gas is ridiculous!!! They have a lot of goodies to choose from though, jerky, fudge, candies etc. If you're traveling on I-10, I suggest putting gas in Willcox...it's much cheaper than this place!! Thankfully once I pulled in and before I put gas, I checked the app on my phone for gas prices. I went in, bought some jerky and drove a few extra miles for cheaper gas...almost 80 cents cheaper! read more

This place was so sad! We missed Dwaynes Jerky coming east on the 10 and hoped this would be promising. 2 oz of jerky.com jerky for 14 dollars. All the rest were name brands, no one said hello or anything. Don't even bother stopping unless you have to pee. read more

Nice gas station along the highway. Fresh jerky varieties, fudge, peanut brittle, dried fruit and tons of samples that you can choose from. Great place to stop for last minute knick knacks (my friends and I were road trippin) and we needed to fill up our tanks and empty out the other tank :) Not suprisingly, the samples caught our attention and we were hooked and ended up getting the jerky. The employees were really nice. I liked it here! read more

First off, this place isn't at the shell anymore. It's just west of its old location. Can I give these people more than 5 stars? The customer service is AMAZING! The two girls that were helping us out were ON IT. Even there mom was there for some reason. All super friendly people. This beef jerky is on point. Yes it costs a little more but that's because it's made with out any preservatives. You get what you pay for, and here you definitely get quality. read more

What a DISAPPOINTMENT (they don't want cursing in these reviews) !!! There were no prices posted on the large SHELL sign & I found out why. When I pulled up to the pump, the prices more than $1.50 higher than the $3.15 it was at gas stations in Wilcox, AZ. I got just 2 gallons and was on my way. The beef jerky was amazingly delicious and the texture was perfect. The roasted nuts were great as well, they keep them warm and they don't have clumps of sugar attached to them like the ones sold at the theaters. Worth stopping by! read more

Place has jacked up pumps that don't even have the auto stop. Be careful their prices are high. On this whole road trip we haven't spent more then 2.29 a gallon this place has it for like 3.09. Check the prices before you fill and see if you can make it to the next closest one. read more

One of the worst shells so far on our trip. Store was closed, no windshield cleaners, and the gas capped us at $100 for our rv.

The rudest attendant is here! Stay away! There is an old blonde lady that works there that has missing teeth who was extremely rude to a customer because he wanted to use the bathroom. She wanted him to go to use the woman's bathroom because she didn't want to open the men's bathroom. Then she THROWS the yellow caution sign that was blocking the men's bathroom and insults him and starts talking trash to the other employees. The whole time the customer was looking at her and was silent. It was such a disgusting thing to see that my family and I walked out! I feel so bad for the guy. Don't go into the Fresh Jerky! Horrible, degrading customer service. Shell Corporation if you see this, please fire that lady!!!!! read more

What a rip off. price for regular gas one dollar per gallon higher than Shell station in nearby Wilcox.

They don't advertise gas price on sign, you pull up for the jerky, then gouge you with gas.

Forget these guys, they charge over a $1.20 more than any other gas station on this stretch of road. What worse is they don't post their prices on their shell sign. You only find out when you pull up to the pump and read the barely legible prices on the faded and out of adjustment digital screen. All their stuff inside is well over 100% mark-up as well.
