What a scam! This place takes such advantage of being the only gas station for a very long stretch on I40. Also the closest rest stop is closed for repairs so everyone was stopping here at night for the bathroom. They have a sign on the door that says use the outdoor portolets . We had driven three hours on Route 66 and this was the closest gas station that was available. Upon arrival they sell no regular gas only diesel at nine dollars a gallon. Thought we'd grab a snack and use the restrooms however the restrooms are just out door flushing Sani cans that are disgusting. There were bees swarming around them. Their indoor restrooms are not open to the public. I called and spoke to the manager and she said that someone tried to destroy their gas station restroom so now they will not let the public use their restroom. Do not go to this gas station. If I could give it a negative star rating I would. Let me start by saying don't stop here if you need gas or to use the restroom. Their gas prices are outrageous. Pretty much highway robbery because there's nothing else close by. Then if you have to use the restroom, you have to pay a dollar or show a receipt so if the receipt of the pumps doesn't work they make you buy something at the store.
