My one buddy eventually left at 3 gallons and took his business elsewhere...Pumps were all slow and once it did fill up, the pump didn't shut off and fuel was spewing all over the side of the vehicle. When we told the guy inside about the slow pumps... he showed zero concern and said a guy will be in around 9am... the time we were there was 6am... complete garbage.

I do stop at this Shell station quite regularly because it's right across the street from the bakery I'm always going to, and I think they're an excellent location with pretty cheap gas, sometimes just as cheap as Walmart over the road, and that's one of the reasons I like them. JR's Express while on my way to the Hobby Airport Rental Center…read more I rarely take the fuel option at National Rental Car being the cost to fuel is not a real bargain unless you bring the car back empty since the option requires buying a full tank. This station appears to be well maintained and more competitive that stations closer to Hobby. If there are any negatives in regards to fueling here while traveling to the airport it's the entrance which is on the opposite side of the boulevard and a U-turn is required to access it and exiting requires you to transverse a normally busy two lane road. I didn't interact with any of the employees here but it was a pretty busy place during my visit so it seems they have a loyal clientele...
