Their whole team is wonderful and they care about their patients. This is truly how a pharmacy should be! You go in and everyone says hello, the pharmacists are smart and ensure their patients are getting what they need and that they understand everything about the drug they are receiving. They are now in a new building about a year and it is even better. I cannot imagine anyone within 10 miles of here going anywhere other than to them. They are the class of pharmacies in all of Houston. BTW They also compound for people and pets! Go say hello to them today!

That being said, I have always had a negative experience just picking up my med. The cashier is always rude. It doesn't matter which one helps me. It could be a pharmacist or pharmacy tech and it's still bad service. I've called CVS' toll free number to complain but nobody cares. Not one thing has changed. Thank goodness I only have to fill 1 med there. If I had to fill all my regular meds there, it would be even worse. As a company, you need to do better CVS.

Scott is such a personable individuals and he has been a pharmacist for many years. He often is able to find programs that lead to deep discounts for those with certain chronic diseases. As a physician I have total confidence in Scott's knowledge and professionalism. Easy parking. No waiting on the phone forever like the big chains. Highly recommended!

This HEB is very convenient to my location and honestly, of the other two nearby (Montrose and…read moreHeights), this one is my favorite. The interior layout is solid, functional, and well maintained. I find the Montrose location to be my second favorite and the heights to be my least favorite of the bunch as it relates to its interior layout. Parking The parking situation is controversial to some, but I've found all locations have their struggles. At this location there is very limited parking out front at street level, yet for whatever reason everyone wants to park at this area. It always makes me wonder how many people think this is the only area to park? Or they are too afraid to go up the garage ramps since one of them is a bit narrow in size. People will wait ages for a surface parking spot, but a quick trip up the ramp of the garage and there's typically plenty of parking except for at the very high volume times you'd expect such as Saturday and Sundays or selectively during early evening times. My largest complaint is if you make the mistake of going to the surface parking area you're very likely to get "trapped" behind someone that will wait to park and going around them is difficult when there's usually oncoming cars as well. Ultimately, you just need to avoid the right side nearest to Heights Blvd. Just go to the back side or east side and you'll avoid the hot mess. At Montrose, the parking layout is odd in the center. I've also found that it tends to be more consistently difficult to find parking. It's not terrible, but it is consistently busy. At Heights, there is garage parking and the street level of the parking garage is always packed when I visit. Interior The layout at Washington Ave is very functional. Produce when you first walk in the main entrance with seafood, meat, bakery, and deli all immediately adjacent. This naturally flows into the beer and wine coolers followed by all of the aisle shopping, with dairy products on the back walls. I won't comment on the other locations layouts in this review, but those locations are older which may explain why they aren't as logical as this one. All businesses typically learn and improve as they grow. Service and Selection I've never had any major issues with finding what I need. Items out of stock tend to be replenished in a reasonable timeframe. The service is always willing to help if asked. There are a few products that aren't carried at this location compared to some of the others, likely due to sizing, but it's not significant. Pricing Look, everyone has their opinions on grocery pricing and where to go. I'm not going to say HEB has the lowest prices on everything, I know they don't, but overall when you look at the balance of quality, freshness, selection, and cleanliness you'll be hard pressed to beat them. There is a reason there is so much pride for HEB inside the state of Texas. Overall Look, I've lived all over the world and in many states. I'm not going to proclaim HEB as the best overall, I've seen some absolutely incredible grocery stores in my time, but HEB is definitely up there in overall balance. I'd be more than happy to see HEB continue to expand to markets beyond where they are now if I lived in those communities. They just offer a very good balance of everything. Their store brand items are absolutely fantastic many times. If you're looking for the absolutely lowest prices, maybe smaller selections, or lower quality items, there are alternatives.

This is for the drive thru pick up prescription experience…read more The app is helpful on your phone because it texts you when your medicine is ready and also how much it costs. I haven't paid in advance yet but the staff at the drive through sound cheerful and I usually get my card taped to my medicine bag and I'm in and out. I find that early morning may be less busy and and end of day busier. It's nice to have this one in such a convenient location by Memorial Park. Highly recommended!
