She doesn't know how to properly explain things and made me withdraw money from the ATM 2 separate times. That's almost $7 in fees just to play the lotto. They only accept cash. Well lit and well kept. Clean and easy to access from either De Soto or Ventura Blvds. The prices are reasonable (both cash and credit prices exist on the sign), and the minimart is large and contains a nice selection of snacks (and a bathroom). As gas stations go, this one is a.o.k. There is also a drive-thru Starbucks attached to the station, which is a nice amenity if you need to knock out all your morning habits in one fell swoop. read more

Never coming here again. It might be close. It might be very convenient. But after today's stop and seeing that the prices are .60 cents higher than the surrounding gas stations, no more! FINESSERS AND THIEVES. I went there late at night to get some snacks and a pack of cigs and the guy thought I was dumb or too tired to noticed and charged me for an extra pack of cigs. Then when I returned I asked multiple times and he said he would not refund me over and over and kept trying to give me the extra pack of a different brand. He had the pack sitting on the side next to the register so he could pretend it was accidental but if it was his fault I get my refund. Bad service, pricey gas, but convenient location that's close to my brothers home. This past Saturday at about 11am, I filled up gas there and figured I'd use the restroom really quick. The young woman cashier looked up and shouted "somebody in there." Hmmm, the door indicated their single restroom was vacant. A few minutes later, an older attendant looks up at me and I ask her about the restroom... without hesitation she says "oh, I'll buzz you in." When leaving I asked the younger cashier why she had lied... I only got a blank stare, no explanation, no self serving excuse, not even a token apology. read more

Well, this is a tricky one. Totally rebuilt from what it used to be, the new Chevron (with Starbucks next door) is squeaky clean and new. The gas prices were quite good, and everything was going good until the 7-Eleven across the street was shut down. Last time I was at this nice Chevron, a homeless guy with a shopping cart was lurking by the front door. This is a bad sign. They need to make the gas station a safe-feeling place or I'll be going elsewhere. read more

Getting gas here is a pain in the ass if you're using your Vons club and a debit card. I think they purposely make it difficult... But their saving grace... The freaking samosas they sell inside. They are legit, light, crispy and flavorful. I never thought I'd be writing a review for a gas station's food, but damn. I think one of their moms makes them, because they are definitely home made and fresh and at $1.65 each, they're a great quick meal or snack. Both veggie or meat are great. read more

I hope the new management can improve this gas station / car wash operation. Their car wash was a total disaster. Scratched the paint while drying my car after the car wash. I've been at this fuel station multiple times , but today I got the worst service, believe me I don't have a problem of paying 10 cents more per gallon (specifically lately) but I've used my debit card and got charged the credit card price. When I ask the cashier Maria, her approach was horrible. No apologies for my inconvenience at all instead she was trying to show me the correct ( debit ) button which I find it rude...... 1 service.
