Outdoor brightly lit Restrooms even though are widely open for public use , they were kept clean ! Staff's Great service is a plus!!! read more

I never thought I'd see the day where the service I received at a gas stations was SO GOOD that I'd feel the need to write a Yelp review but... that day is HERE! My phone died on a road trip and the cashier Isabella was incredibly warm and helpful (she's also absolutely gorgeous but that's besides the point ). She provided directions and even recommended potential pit stops for the rest of my drive. Another gentleman, Daniel, noticed one of my tires was low and turned the air on so I could refill my tire and make it home safely. Idk who hired these 2 but good job - give them a raise or at least a couple high fives! The facility was brightly lit, well stocked, and the bathrooms were OPEN (rare these days) and nice and clean. There is also lots of room in the lot so this is a great choice if you're hauling a trailer or moving truck. I'm definitely stopping by next time I come through the area read more

The bathrooms are disgusting, as there are flies flying around in the stalls, the floors are dirty and wet, and the toilet bowls are stained. If you want a good pit stop to stop to for the bathroom, I wouldn't recommend this place. read more

This is our pit spot for gas of course and the lovely sweet fruit stand that you can find off the street. For $7 you will get a fresh cut fruit cup filled with cantaloupe, watermelon, pineapple, cherries, and jicama. It tastes amazing with the squeezed lemon and spicy Hispanic chili. Delicious ! Our Annual Memorial Day weekend stop and ritual. Our daughter loves it too , and it's only $7. I would have posted a photo, but it's all gone! Lol. Best fruit so far was today !!! I stopped here on the way down to LA, as I am a loyal Chevron customer. It's conveniently located right off the freeway. The gas prices were reasonable for a gas station in the middle of nowhere. The pumps were properly maintained, the receipt printed at the pump, windshield squeegees and towels were available as well. The inside convenient store, although on the small side, was fully packed with snacks and beverages. The coffee station was quite extensive with several choices in terms of roast strength, they even had the super strong stuff to keep me awake in route. The staff was super friendly with appreciation for my business. The place was also quite clean including the restrooms. Chevron typically offers gas discounts for Chevron card holders, but not at this location. read more

I guess as for quality of the station overall I give it a three. It was clean and they had a nice little store with lots of munchies and beverages. I used the restroom inside - only to discover that it's really for the staff and the customers facilities are outside. But it was clean and not disgusting as in most Pit Stop places. When I came out of the store to fuel up I noticed that right next door at the ARCO station the gas was $1.20 a gallon cheaper so I decided to go there and save $18.00 on my fill up. You cannot take away points for their pricing - but I can see why the other gas stations had more customers. read more

Chevron - What a selection - Gas Stations Near Me - Lost Hills, California

This place is a rip-off and if you like having your pants ripped-off while you're pumping gas here, then this is your place. I decided to fill up my gas tank another half tank before heading out west over the 46 to Paso Robles on the 101. Boy was I surprised to find-out that this place and also other surrounding gas stations in this area charge an additional 0.70 cents more per the gallon. I was contemplating about gassing up going north on 5 near Buttonwillow about 50 miles south and I should have done that instead. I found that the gas was about 0.40 cents cheaper than this place. It's hard to imagine that the gas is so overpriced in this area and to think about it, if you drive westward on the 46, what do you see in the surrounding areas?? Oil pumps- Yes, oil pumps. It's not like they have to truck the fuel in 1000 miles away and charge every driver a premium. They make you think that this is the only place for miles on end before ever seeing another gas station on the horizon. AVOID GASSING UP AT ANY FUEL STATIONS AT THIS LOCATION AT ALL COSTS!! With careful planning, it's very possible to plan ahead of time on the map where you want to gas-up and still have plenty of fuel to drive past this location. Word of advice and peace of mind- If you need to gas-up, try to find a place outside the 50 mile radius of this place and avoid being ripped-off. (Also, if you're not brand-particular, try to question why the ARCO next door's gas is priced much lower....hmmm) read more

***Gas prices on the 5 freeway between Los Angeles and San Francisco are very high and that is the case at this Chevron; prices at this Chevron seem especially high; this is made even more apparent by the Arco next door, which features surprisingly low gas prices (at least for this area); this gas station is right off the freeway and getting onto the 5 freeway heading south is very easy*** Several free parking spaces are available if you just need to pick up a snack/drink or to use their restroom. read more

Where's the love for Chevron? Co'mon guys! They got gas and they got restrooms. Not so delightful restrooms and dirty pump islands... but at least that stuff is there. If you need gas, if you are a social anthropologist or you really have to go bad... well, this isn't such a bad place. Sofie said the women's bathroom was quite clean! She said the person who does the cleaning had just finished and all of the stalls were all decked out. As an aside, do you know what they call those paper things you put on the toilet seats? My dad had a gas station and called them "ass gaskets". It was my job to fill the dispensers with ass gaskets every morning before going to school. Much later when I was in college I learned the real name and use of those things. The time was in the early 70's and a young Jerry Brown was running for governor. Someone had written on the dispenser: "Jerry Brown Campaign Hats. Take one." I enjoyed reading the inscriptions scratched into the tiles around the urinals. This is why I think an anthropologist would enjoy this place. There are deep messages being passed on. Cries for help and maybe just friendly "Hello" - but all disguised in cryptic script. One marking was in a sharpie and in caps said, "SELMA CA". This really meant alot to me because both my parents were born there - 1914 and 1922. Mother use to sing the Selma High School song. I always remember the end of the song: "...Selma the home of the peach!" I was wondering if one of the random citizens just wrote that or the chamber of commerce is sending someone around to advertise Selma. Whatever - I'm going to be stopping by Selma on my next trip and I think you should too. read more
