About 20 years ago the only store in this area was Roscoe General, which is about 6 miles further down Roscoe Road in the backwoods part of Newnan, so when Crossroads popped up and gave us a second, more well equipped and better priced option, we rejoiced! I remember shortly after it opened, after work when I was 16 a friend and myself would stop by Crossroads on the way home, grab a couple of sodas and hang out in the café seating section (which is no longer there) until curfew. While I no longer live in Newnan, I do visit Crossroads every time I visit my parents, which only live about a mile from the store. This is my parents go-to store and they know the owners and all the clerks by name, and they know my parents by the same. I can walk in and ask for "Mr. Barry's order" and the clerks know what's up and make it happen. They also have a small corner café that operates and has biscuits, sandwiches, boiled peanuts, pizza, etc...I have dabbled in their offerings over the years and definitely enjoy the breakfast biscuits over everything! While Crossroads isn't the cleanest and most well kept store around, it is a great local neighborhood store where the relationships had are just as important as the products inside. If you aren't a local, Crossroads is still a solid place to stop by to refuel your vehicle and/or belly.

I have never seen a convenience store with so much to see, buy and do. I was here a good 30 minute beyond what I thought I would be (I could use the break anyway). This really is a one stop shop. The bathrooms have a ton of stalls which are super clean and there's a tv and sitting area in there. I mean, if you really need a break :) You can stop over into Burger King as well as Dunkin Doughnuts or grab one of the many food items or snacks in the store. Grab a bottle of water or wine. All items from mainstream buys to local items. You can scroll through the store where you can find SO many items. Nicknaks, coolers, t-shirts, pictures, towels, soaps, the list can go on. There are a handful of pumps for gas and even a grassy area to walk your pets. This place just about anything you need for a quick ( or not so quick) stop along the way of your travels.

This is my favorite gas station around town just for the variety of fuels they have at the pump,…read morehowever they have one INCREDIBLY annoying habit that I have complained about repeatedly in person and which that has wasted more of my time than any other store however. They do not and will not EVER put signs on the damned pumps when they are out of gas. I am not kidding when I say I have to drove to four or five gas pumps every single time I come here because they REFUSE to tell people when they're put of gas. So their customers have to drive from pump to pump putting ten cents of fuel in their car at a time until they find one that works. Its ridiculous and completely unnecessary and it makes me want to stop bringing my business to this place altogether.
