Listen. I don't post reviews. I especially don't post reviews about gas stations, but this one deserves it. I have never used a cleaner, nicer gas station bathroom in my life. The attendant was very nice and you could tell she took cleanliness in the time of COVID very seriously. We were passing through on the way to Bishop. If you're looking to fill up your gas tank or your belly with snacks, I would recommend you pay this place a visit! read more

I went to go to the bathroom with my daughter here and it was locked. So I unlocked it and saw a worker and said "oh I'm sorry are they not open, it's kind of an emergency?" In a very nice voice. Mind you my daughter is 2 and potty training and I had not peed for 4 hours. He said "obviously it was locked for a reason, no you cannot come in." He seemed very macsochionistic with his following comments, clearly did not have kids or know what traveling with a toddler is like. I would not recommend as a rest stop. read more

Expect a bit of line at the beginning of a track day and the end, but overall not too bad. The place is clean (including the bathrooms) and the staff is friendly. Of course the main selling point is that it is very convenient to Willow Springs raceway, where the gas has a ridiculous markup. Make sure to fill up here before heading to the track! read more

It's a great station in a useful location. Even though it's Rosamond, it's not overrun with riffraff. I don't pay attention to gas prices, though they didn't strike me as being unreasonably high or surprisingly low. It's Chevron, so it's probably not cheap. The good thing is the large convenience store inside that is clean and well-stocked--exactly what I want when stopping for fuel in a remote locale. read more

This is the only gas station we use aside from Costco, we were hit with a $99 Chevron charge from Arizona on Nov 8 transaction details "fuel pump" on my card which I cancelled right away. And today we were hit for $95 from a United Pacific fuel pump and $99 Chevron fuel pump on my husband's card which he used at the pump on Nov 12. I can't imagine where else our cards could have been stolen from. Just giving fair warning. read more

I go to Chevron for my cigarettes. But the people who work there cant tell the difference between menthol or regular much less a different style of one brand. I'm going to a smoke shop instead. read more

I live in San Diego and accidentally left my wallet on top of a gas pump at this Chevron. I did not realize it until I got home 3.5 hours away. A woman was nice enough to turn it in and the staff (Tammy, Britney and Liz) were so nice in helping me get it shipped back to San Diego. They're lucky they are the only fueling station on the west side of the 14... perhaps that is why they get away with being so much pricier than the other stations in town. They know they've got all the residents on the west side of town and the Willow Springs crowd, so there isn't much reason to compete in price with the Fastrip on the other side of the freeway. The convenience store is clean, bright, and well stocked. There is a convenient Jack-In-The-Box drive-thru if that happens to be your thing. I only stop here because I'm lazy and don't want to take the time to go the extra mile across the freeway and fight the lines at the cheaper stations. But if you're local, you drive to EAFB in some frequency, shop smart and save some cash - Gas Buddy your options and don't be afraid to venture to the east side of Rosamond. read more

Low rating due to corporate policy for this store. Requires id scanning to purchase cigarettes, including those well over 35 years of age. A recent experience with a new employee sent me to another store, for good. New employee had a major bad attitude when asked for the strength of several packs of cigerettes (no line waiting). Then my friend forgot her wallet and he would not sell without id. I tried to buy the cigerettes and he refused service. His overall attitude was offensive. My friend is 58 and I'm 75, well past the age for proof of age as required by law. Although the majority of the staff is extremely friendly, this bad apple cost the business of myself and 2 other customers (that I know of, sure there are others). Corporate, shame on you for setting your own law, bypassing the state mandated law. Goodbye Chevron. read more

Clean well stocked and extremely friendly staff! They really do go the extra mile for their customers.

I stop at this Chevron/ExtraMile store almost every morning for coffee and a breakfast sandwich or pastry and occasionally in the evenings for a snack or something to drink. The staff (with the exception of one person who I, thankfully, rarely have to encounter) are incredible and always do everything in their power to help me with whatever I may need. They never fail to remember what my favorite items are and they do their best to ensure these items are readily available for me when I arrive. In fact, this morning a new employee who I have only seen one time prior to today immediately went to make sure my favorite coffee creamer was well-stocked as soon as he saw me walk into the store! I have multiple options on my way to work for my morning coffee purchases, including a Starbucks and a drive-thru coffee kiosk, but the employees at this Chevron/ExtraMile store have made me a regular customer. The ONLY reason I am giving this store four stars instead of five is because of the gas prices. I really wish the Chevron corporation would at least attempt to be a little more competitive in their gasoline pricing so I could make this my one-stop-shop on days I need gasoline. I simply cannot justify paying 30-60 cents more per gallon than what is being charged at the Arco and FasTrip less than a mile away. read more

Chevron in Rosamond, CA seems a bit high priced for gas, but what do you expect with the economy, it's crap. Other than the prices, though, the staff in my opion is great. I stop in every now and then due to the fact that I live here in Rosamond, and everyone who works here always seems friendly and asks if need help finding anything all the time. The place is nicely stocked and well groomed. One thing I've noticed is the bright smiles on all of the employees faces, i'm sure they must have bad days, yet still stay high and cheery with every customer. One day I was in line waiting to buy a couple candy bars with a deal they had and I noticed a guy who was clearly intoxicated giving one of the employees by the name of Joshua a very hard time and kept cutting in front of the line and using inappropriate words at him. The employee was the only one I saw working there for whatever reason? but he kept a smile on his face and even after trying his best to help the drunk customer told him to have a nice day after he stomped out cussing. I know for a fact I would not have had the patience and kindness after that sort of issue. But all in all it seems like a great place, and there's a jack in the box next door to get tacos!
