Let me just say, I am well traveled and I've never experienced such a welcoming gas station in my life as this place. Their food is absolutely delicious! The location in Sandy is pretty nice, maybe because it isn't that old and they have done the store with the Sandy Theme, which looks sort of like a mountain lodge wannabe. My sister was looking for Oregon t-shirts to take back home, but we couldn't find any that were not too expensive for what they were, or would be.. the shirt you end up wearing while you wait for the rest of your laundry. I suggested Walgreens, not remembering the prices, but score, they had an end-cap with plenty to choose from. I think she got 3 shirts for $12. So, it was a good day and we walked out with shirts, beer and snacks. Walgreens is so much more than a drug dispensary, if you know what you are looking for. It is kind of cool that each one seems to carry team logos for whatever high school they are close to. Another way to score an inexpensive shirt with your high school name on it, so you have something to wear while you do laundry.

Gave them two stars which is a direct violation of Yelp policy: rating a biz based solely on their opinion on how well the mandates are being applied. Educate thyself, child. I stop in here now and then more to support a local business and to socialize with friends than anything else. I'm sitting outside, in the fresh air, always at least 6' away from the wait staff. Do I care if they have a mask on? Nope. This is a nice little locally owned and operated business. They have a lot of weird beers (ciders, wines, etc) including some brands that I haven't had since I was in the Navy 60 years ago. They have a funky sort of vibe that I usually don't go for but in their case it just works. They are right on the main drag although the outside seating is off to the side. You can still hang around and watch the world go by, chatting with friends in this very friendly and welcoming environment. Better when it warms up, of course, else you'll find me inside. Sandy is a nice little working class burb in the middle of nowhere between Gresham and Mount Hood. Nice stop over if you're coming back off the mountain.

Not sure who would knock this location…read more.. Since they opened we have been coming here. The convenient location right at the intersection of Orient Dr and Hwy 26 is super awesome. A little bit interesting to get into if you haven't been there before, however the way that we drive it's very convenient particularly when we are on our way to Sandy. The last couple times it's been super busy. I'm not sure that the store has anything super wonderful that I want to go and get but I'm not there for that period I'm there for gas. I continually check the pricing and they are either equal or lower than Costco on a very regular basis Anyone who doesn't recognize this is not an aware person. They're often busy but they catch you very quick. Definitely we'll be recommending definitely we'll be going although I'm not sure that I want anybody else to know about it. I'm not one for lines lol

Lovely customer service here at the ampm. We were the ONLY customer pulling in for gas. The pump…read moreattendant came over and, no hello...no niceties, just an immediate " you do know you can pump your own diesel in Oregon". To be fair, he was pretty busy reading the tag on the fire extinguisher when we pulled up. (For the record, we do know we can pump our own diesel here in Oregon, so don't head over if you don't wish to pump.) We also asked him if he could fill our propane, and again, although we were still the only car, he stated "only if I'm not busy". Needless to say we pulled away and decided against the propane. You may return to your fire extinguisher education instead.
