Plus, I was motoring along OR-43 through pastoral West Linn. I found what I was looking for. I might have even bought another thing or two. This Walmart Neighborhood Market is the nicest of any I've gone into and I've probably been inside a handful. The store is clean, the selection is vast, and the prices are reasonable. Then, the employees are on top of their game and those shopping here are civil, meaning that drama and theatrics will be at an absolute minimum. If you want drama, rent a flick. That's not what one wants while shopping. Note that the Walmart Neighborhood Market concept is a bifurcation from the regular Walmart or super center. They are meant to be, first and foremost, a grocery store. This is not where you come to buy socks, a toaster oven, or fertilizer. In fact, you just might be able to do all your grocery shopping here. As you do your shopping here, you might think you're on vacation. Sitting up on its knoll with its treed parking lot and woodsy appearance, you might think you're in either Monterey/Carmel or Sausalito shrouded in June gloom. Instead, you're at a type of Walmart under this area's consistent gray skies and in "Lake Oswego Lite."

Would be helpful and more expeditious to get additional workers, they need support to move people through faster and properly. Drive Thru is amazingly convenient BUT the staff is being overwhelmed since there's not enough counter people. Dedicating a person to Drive Thru during peak hours would help, in and out in just a few minutes makes the store profit and customers happier. Shouldn't be a 30 minute wait going through Drive Thru, they desperately need more employees in the pharmacy.

The clerk would not accept his Mexican passport as a valid form of identification. I said that a passport is an accepted form of identification from any country. The clerk preceded to tell me that it wasn't valid in Oregon. I asked him how a foreigner could buy beer in Oregon then and he told me he needed a valid US identification. I told him he was wrong about that and he got abusive towards me and calling me an idiot as I walked out. Who are the real idiots here? You need to get it together before someone sues you for racial discrimination. I WILL BE SHARING MY EXPERIENCE WITH 7-11 CORPORATE. He immediately challenged me saying that it does not say nachos, it says "chips". I ended up completely walking out angry because he was so confrontational and rude about the whole situation. He could have easily turned it into a good customer service situation but didn't possess the capacity to do so. I will not complain to the owner because she won't do anything anyway. I used to frequent this location because it's near by. I have had so many terrible customer service experiences that I will now travel a mile further for better service. Convenient Starbucks to grab a drink before/after shopping, however this location does not let you order ahead on the Starbucks app. The staff is pretty friendly, and the manager is efficient and kind. When I have any issues the employees are always empowered to solve problems and I love when management does that and let's the team find solutions as they see fit. Saves me time and frustration.
