For lunch, it's hard to go wrong with the Menu du Jour, two plates for 19E, three for 25E. The rabbit terrine, expertly made, rich and nuanced, served with a biting whole mustard. Pumpkin soup, spiced beautifully for the season, was creamy, soft, and warming. The chicken ballotine stuffed with herbs and laid over filling red lentils cooked in sultry demi-glace. To pair, the wine list is expansive and filled with Burgundy, at suitable prices. Castel de Tres Girard's on the must-do list for any trek on the Route de Grand Cru.
