I think for the bun bo itself, I'll give it a 3.5 star. The experience was ok..they said that they open at 11:30 so we got there right on the dot and they asked if we're dining in and we said yes. They told us we'll have to wait another 20 mins..but they said they were open at 11:30 though..we asked if we could wait inside and they said yes. We actually didn't have to wait the whole 20 minutes which was good..they asked us what we wanted and I told them I wanted a pho and they said they don't have any yet. O.o but I came here because I wanted some pho..anyways, I was forced to choose the bun bo (I'm not a big fan of the dish) and it turned out decent so I'm not complaining about the dish..like I said 3.5 star for the dish. The guy serving is was pretty nice though.

    Bo Bun!

Delicious bo bun. €8 eat-in or takeaway. Friendly, efficient service. Wish I had a place like this in my neighbourhood!

We are loving it. We ordered Bo Bun (vermicelli) and Pho (beef noodle soup). We will definitely come back when we're visiting Paris.

We got by using hand gestures and pointing to which fried deliciousness on a display case we wanted to add to our Bo Bun.

Delighted to find so many varieties of not only ramyun, but tons of other korean foods packed into this tiny little mart. If I had a kitchen I would have bought more snacks and goods. I was hoping they would have kimchi in a bag too and they did! And plenty of them! And kimchi in a can too! Cooked, fresh, fermented to the max! Perfect! It does smell like crazy though just in case you take it to your hotel. Even when we put the kimchi in a ziplock bag and inside of our mini fridge, it was still very smelly. I survived off of this ramyun for two days, ate it once for dinner and once for breakfast. The kimchi was sooooooo good. Highly recommend getting it with the instant noodles. You can ask for chopsticks as well at the front. You have to pay for bags so bring your own if you don't want to fork out a few cents. Stop by here on your way to the theater! About a 5 minute walk from the main street where all the shops and theater is!

When I first wandered the 13eme, I wasn't very impressed; I saw only a smattering of Asian traiteurs and grocery stores. When I reached Tang Frères (literally, when I turned the corner), my eyes almost fell out of my head. I've NEVER seen such an enormous Asian supermarket. The way that it's arranged is not very intuitive to me (even though I feel like I have a lot of experience wandering around Asian supermarkets); I can't ever seem to find the spices / sauces that I want. There also aren't very many workers walking around, so it's extremely difficult to find help. However, that allows you to wander around and explore all the awesome things that they sell. :D Chives are surprisingly expensive. (I just had to say that :x It's really weird for me). There's a huge variety; I can't overemphasize this. I think you can pretty much find any Vietnamese / Chinese thing you'd need for any sort of cooking. Prices are decent for Paris. Today, I bought a lychee drink, a mangosteen drink, two sets of wonton wrappers, 500g of ground pork, chives, five-spice powder, coconut milk, and tiny tapioca pearls for only 11.20€. Amazing. ALSO! They ground their pork fresh :O It's so cool. I've never seen that. You do need to get a ticket in order to get served by the Boucherie, though. I totally didn't expect this at all and I stood around like an idiot, wondering how people knew it was their turn to get served. I guess it's a new system. It's a little out of the way, but it's totally worth a trip. :)
