It's our last night in Paris and we stumbled across Chez Ming at 10pm hoping for some good Chinese food in the vicinity of the Eiffel Tower. This little place exceeded our expectations! The staff was warm and welcoming and the food came out faster than you can say, Hong Kong! We ordered the chicken chow mein and the chicken fried rice along with the spring rolls. The spring rolls were the best I've ever had! Our experience was unforgettable, and we will definitely be returning on our next venture to Paris! read more

One of our first food spots in Paris and the view did not disappoint! We had a breathtaking view of the Eiffel Tower and sat outdoors. We did not have a rsvp but was able to be seated right away. The food was good. I love Chinese food so I would say the ones in NJ are better but the location and the ability to just walk in and get a seat makes this restaurant a gem. They also serve cocktails and other alcoholic drinks. The prices were also reasonable and they had English speaking staff if you're not comfortable with French. read more

Stopped by chez ming during a walk and saw it was busy for lunch. Ordered a lunch menu and two veggies dishes. They were all Ok. The fried chicken lunch menu dish came with wonton soup and fried rice. Issue with the chicken was that it was in a heavy sauce, which I normally don't like. The wonton was in a dark soy sauce base, which ended up being very salty. The fried rice was a huge portion and was good! The veggies were a saving grace, super delicious and garlicky! Service is definitely lacking. My friend found this place on social media and wanted to try it when we were in town. They close between lunch and dinner service so just fyi. We were seated in the back and the owner came and moved us to the front. No worries, it was more people watching there anyway. We were left alone for a long time and then our order was taken. I ordered the fried noodles and beef and my friend got the sweet and sour pork with white rice and shumai. They brought everything g out but the rice. She had to ask repeatedly for her steamed white rice. We had a relaxing dinner here on our last night in Paris. The food was okay. I wasn't wowed but not disappointed either. The service was very fast. They also had Monaco - the only beer I drink. Monaco has been hard to find but they had it which was nice! What I ordered in order of preference: Beef fried rice, crispy duck (this didn't come out as crispy as we would have liked), beef and pepper sauce. It was hot outside, so we sat inside, and there wasn't much airflow inside and the space was very small (at least by American standards). The service was very slow, and the portion sizes were tiny. The food did not taste authentic. Honestly, if you're not going to dine outside and enjoy the views of the Eiffel tower, it's not worth coming here. The fried rice didn't appear to have any soy sauce on it, so we dumped the beef and onions over the rice, and it tasted very good. Headed into this neighborhood for a highly rated neighboring restaurant. My wife wouldn't of liked much on the menu at that locations so here we are. It was all very good and reasonable priced. We visited around 8 pm on July 9. Great view of the Eiffel Tower while seated at a table on the sidewalk. I enjoyed the Vietnamese spring roll, but that's it. (One rating for the view and another for the spring rolls) The Thai fried rice was very different and not as tasty from what I'm used to ordering from other restaurants. Service was EXTREMELY subpar. The middle aged female server was cold and distant. Not pleasant at all. She gets a ZERO rating! My family and I heard the stereotypical "French people are rude." However, everyone else we encountered during our visit to France were lovely, friendly, and helpful. EXCEPT the older woman in her mid 50s early 60s at this restaurant and another Asian woman at a Japanese restaurant just outside of Paris. Although, my family and I are Asian Americans, we learned it's best we never go to another Asian restaurant in France again because the food and service is so poor. We wanted to get some rice so we ordered three dishes: soup, beef broccoli and stir fried noodles with chicken. They spoke really good English and the waiter was pretty cute. The owner (I believe) works there as well and spoke to us. We spent around 29 euros for three dishes and gobbled it up. Not the best flavoring but itll do the trick. The only complaint I have was that the stir fried noodles, the poultry was a little cold. Overall, not bad.
