Another regular on those Best Fries in Brussels lists, Friterie du Miroir if your typical local fry spot. Right on the Place Reine Astrid, this place isn't a tourist spot, it's not some marketed attraction, is simply a local fritkot--and it does fries how they should be done. Crispy, hot, slathered in the sauce of your choice, these are how Belgian fries are meant to be. You can't go wrong with this spot. It's a bit outta the way, but worth the jaunt to Jette. They also get an adequate amount of napkins. So there's that too. Get the cornet.

All in all, amongst the friteries in Brussels is not the best. To be used only if you're in the area and don't have time / willingness to move to Barriere or elsewhere for better. Oh, but I have to confess: the look is vintage and shabby just as it should be :)
