    Nutella tiramisu

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!!! Seriously, nothing but love for this place. I love coming here for the "salads" - and I use the term salad loosely, since as you can see from the photos, the salads are very very copious- hearty and filling! They have an excellent choice of salads that are standard, and then a salad du jour kinda deal. Same thing with the rest of the menu - you can really order just about any typical French bistro food here. Back to the salads - they are always served with something on the side in a cup or jar (gazpacho for the Andalusian salad, or bœuf bourguignon for exemple). If you've taken my advice and went with a salad, don't skimp on dessert! (Haha either way, just don't forget dessert! Best part of a meal!). Get the Nutella tiramisu - to die for! Now this place is quite popular (and rightfully so), so don't forget reservations!! ;) bon appétit!

I'm not sure why this place only got 3.5 stars. I went at 2300 hours after the big bus night tour. I was hungry but I wanted a place close to my hotel. The concierge suggested this place but when I went (st. Patrick's day) it was crammed. I choose another based on reviews and was a bit disappointed. But on to why your reading this. 2300 hours (or 11pm for civilian folk) and there were empty seats. Not bare, but empty. Still happy hour as I was reminded by the server. The locals also started to pile in after me, which is always a good sign. The server spoke English and was fast to assist me with the French menu as my French is worse than most Parisians' English. I left it up to the waiter, i said bring me what you would eat. He brought duck confit and was accompanied by a glass of chardonnay. Let me just say, tres bien! Cooked perfectly, smoky flavor with a side of steamed tomatoes and squash. Also delicious. I'm just sorry I waited until my last night to try it. Even though I had absolutely no room, I ordered the tiramisu. Also perfect, the cream not too sweet or heavy the cake not too drenched or tough. Perfect. For the price and the location (if you're close) it's a definite try. Just go on off hours and you'll get top service, happy hour, and great food in less than 10 minutes. When I come back, it's definitely on my list of places to return to.

Wonderful food, great salads, very reasonable prices. Crucially, friendly staff. Worth going out of your way to eat. Service all day.

Took me a long time to finally write a review for this brasserie since I could not remember the name of the place until I searched here.

Solid four star food and service. Dropped in for late lunch and iced into set menu for 16€. What…read moreordered was so buttery creamy and so yummy. The ham rissotto it was. Perfect after an evening of shesha with friends. Service is pleasant and fast. The patio rocks especially on the side, comfortable and out of the way. Will eat again.

We read nice brunch reviews about a restaurant nearby "Chez Troquette" called "L'Artiste" but since…read moreit was fully booked we ended up at the "Chez Troquette". It was a really good experience. Warm welcomed by the two waiters (I suppose as well owners and brothers) and we got a nice table by the window. We decided to have brunch there, which is served not in buffet from but it will be brought to your table in a mixed plate. It contains scrambled eggs with your choice of bacon, chicken or salmon, grilled vegetable, salad, fruit salad, fresh plain yoghurt, row ham, hard cheese, goat cheese, pan cake, mini chocolate cake, madeleine, basket of fresh baguette, butter and homemade jam accompanied by a hot drink and a glass of fresh squeezed orange juice. All the products offered were really tasteful and of high quality. Everything seems to be homemade and with love. A nice surprise was the mini chocolate cake: still warm and with a soft chocolate cream inside. The homemade jam was delicious and with a lot of fruit pieces inside. Service friendly and attentive. The only critical point the size of the table: a little bit too small to contain all the food and drinks brought. Overall a really great experience. I deeply recommend to try.

First meal in Paris. Maybe because I didn't order the right item, I found this restaurant not wow…read more I got the "Made in Taiwan". It was ok. The portion size was huge but the flavor wasn't wow. The noodles were lacking. The noodle isn't the kind of noodle I liked. I found them too firm. Tofu seemed to be over cooked. On the brightside, the greens in the noodle were super fresh. B had the pastrami sandwich. He liked it. Fries were ok. The decor isn't wow here. I found this place though google and Yelp. This restaurant had a lot of history and story behind it. Servers here were super nice and friendly. The washroom here seemed a bit creepy.

The staff is fantastic, they give great service and will always help you make a decision on what to get! I had their chicken satay, a dish I favor in the states and they classed it up! Typically served on a skewer these were thin chicken breasts, covered in sauce served on a bed of rice. So good! My favorite dish there, may seem so basic, but their cesar salad. It blows any salad I have had in the US out of the water. Hard boiled eggs are in it, a large fresh chicken breast, and all the ingredients taste fresh. I've had their burgers, also fabulous and their hot chocolate! I have never left unsatisfied and will be my go-to place if I ever find myself in Paris again.
