We just had a coffee and croissants prior to the lunch service. The file and the dining room is beautiful. The service was slow but we where relaxed and we would like to return sometime to eat lunch. www.printemps@group-bertrand.com

Brasserie itself, meaning the architecture was breath taking. It was definitely a work of art, we were mesmerised by the beautiful stain glass ceiling. Unfortunately there was no direction nor indication for the Brasserie when we were in Printemps dept. store. We had to ask around to find out that it was all the way up on the 6th floor. When we arrived, we were seated right away, given the lunch menu and the server came to take our order. A bit of an attitude and server seemed lazy and not motivated. They were well staffed but only a few were really serving and running the food. Others were just hanging around chit chatting on the side, kinda sad to see. The restaurant was not busy for lunch and it was a shame to see such a location and environment given, it should be bustling and full of energy and packed with people especially during peak hours. Food was good, on point, and not crazy expensive given such beautiful environment. Presentation of the food was great, taste was alright nothing to shout about. Will return just for the ceiling lol

The waiters are attentive and don't care if you just sit and chill for hours. They are also happy to help with photos under the dome.

Love just hanging out here when I visit Paris. It's a tradition to order champagne and a snack and just relax and enjoy the beautiful ceiling of stained glass.

I ate at La Brasserie du Printemps TWICE while I was staying in Paris. The restaurant is gorgeous, the service is thorough and attentive, and the food is delicious. The first time I went there I had chicken with polenta and the next day I had a lamb stew with veggies. The seats are very comfortable which felt especially nice after walking all over Paris that day, and even though it's a large restaurant it's not too noisy. My meals were also reasonably priced for how good the food was. My only mistake was not specifying tap water with my order...could've saved 5€!

Luca was my server and he was very welcoming in hospitable to this weary traveler. I sat on the patio towards the end of the row so I could take in the atmosphere and people watch a bit. Luca Recommended a meal with a mashed potatoes and sausage with French bread and salad and it sounded tasty so I gave it a go! All the flavors went well together; mashed potatoes were well seasoned the sausage had a good flavor, and the salad with the vinaigrette added a crunch in an extra flavor as well. I drank a French hard cider while I gobbled up my meal, which also was new for me and tasted great after I was done my meal. Luke brought me a shot with rum and some other ingredients, including lemon that definitely hit the spot after a good meal.I recommend Brasserie Belanger for anyone near GDN Train Station that enjoys great food and patio dining. Cheers!

The restaurant itself isn't small, but really not big, so it's definitely worthwhile to make a reservation at least a week or so on advance, otherwise you're pushing your luck. Everyone ordered steak frites (2 rump steak, 2 flank) and no one was disappointed. Steaks were cooked to order, although medium here in France is more like medium rare in the States, just be advised. The restaurant itself is lively and fun with lots of chatting, laughing and good times being shared. Desserts were Crème Brûlée and Apple Crumble, neither of which were disappointing. We definitely enjoyed our dinner and would likely return again. This time with a reservation made well in advance.

We were seated at a table facing the smaller street with IKEA City. Not much people-watching happened given shops were already closed in the evening and thus less people shopping on the streets. We ordered the croque monsieur and croque madame. The difference between the two is that the croque madame comes with a fried sunny side up egg. This was heavy but so yummy! The egg yolk makes a great sauce to soak up this cheesy and hammy toast. This came with a salad on the side which had a vinegar based dressing coated on it. The only thing is we had miscommunication with the waitress about drinks. We asked for water (l'eau) but they gave us distilled water in a bottle which costed us 8 euros. I learned it's important to learn to specifically ask for carafe d'eau (tap water in French) to get free water! Felt a bit bad that we were overcharged. Just gotta be careful with communicating next time. All in all, I enjoyed trying the amazing sandwich that is a croque madame. Wanted to give 4 stars for the food but the bottled water still irks me.

Naturally, we had to see what all the excitement was about. ambience has that old-school Parisian bistro feel We ordered their best sellers and while both sandwiches were made with quality ingredients, fresh bread, and generous fillings, they just didn't live up to the expectations. They were good, but they weren't the kind of sandwiches that make you stop after the first bite and think, this is amazing. I honestly don't understand the hype. After waiting in line, I expected something truly memorable, but it turned out to be just a good sandwich, nothing more. If you happen to pass by when there's little or no queue, it's worth trying. But if there's a long line, I'd skip it and head to one of the many other excellent sandwich shops in Paris. For me, the wait simply wasn't justified.

First off, this is an iconic historic hotel. Beautiful location at Place Vendome. My friend and I were hungry and on a weekday night and randomly walked in and were promptly seated. I'm not sure how it normally goes here regarding wait times and reservations. The French onion soup and lobster rolls were divine. The server would walk around with a bread box and would bring the whole box to the table and you could pick from there. We had cereal bread and an onion focaccia. Amazing! They gave us complimentary chocolates too. The vibes and ambience are immaculate. It looks like a classic fancy restaurant. There was a piano player too! They gave us a little chair for our purses.
