Getting in was a little bit of confusion - the IG said to call for reservations but when I called,…read morethey said no reservations. Whoever answered the phone also didn't speak English, which obviously is fine but I am just warning in case a fellow tourist tries to call! (i spoke Lao) We got there and waited in a line that wasn't too long. It was a mix of french people and non-french tourists, and they have both an English and french menu. We got the chicken laab, sausage, deep fried ribs, and beef with dipping sauce. After our first few days of delicate French food, this was a nice break. Everything was on point and the fried ribs were the best. All of the staff were so nice and attentive even with how hectic and busy it was. we bought tshirts to bring home and they threw in some cool stickers.

It was so good we immediately wanted to order another round. Another highlight was the Pad See Ew, which was a refreshingly tart surprise. Unlike the sweeter version I'm used to in the States, this one leaned tangy with vinegar notes that really balanced the richness of the noodles. Both dishes were shareable, satisfying, and elevated beyond the usual takeout versions. My husband enjoyed trying Kir they carried, which paired beautifully with the food. We ended up sharing a few glasses, which really rounded out the meal. Total damage around 100 EUR. Vibes: 5/5 This place gets packed in the evenings. We initially waited about 20 minutes outside before being seated, but once inside, the buzz of the restaurant and the cozy setup made it worth it. It had a lively, local vibe that added to the fun of the night. All in all, If you're in Paris and craving something beyond French cuisine, this spot is a fantastic choice. Between the flavorful dishes, energetic atmosphere, and thoughtful drinks, it was the perfect change of pace during our trip. I'd absolutely go back, especially for those shrimp.
