Specifically the secretary Terry, who is the first person you see and talk too when you call. Every time I go there she makes the experience much more miserable than it already is. This has not been a one time incident and hasn't been to just me as both my parents who go there have complained about how rude she is. I used to go to Aspen Dental, where I never saw the same dentist twice and all they were concerned about was collecting my insurance money up front, so it was definitely a welcome change when I started with Dr. Gangi. His hygienists are also really good and seem to do a thorough job. Terry at the front desk is very friendly and always accommodating. The prices are in line with other dentists I've seen before, and they take my dental insurance plan.

I told her to call me if anything was to open up earlier. Got an email that showed the appointment was at the end of March at 8am. Called yesterday to get an afternoon appointment was told I could come in 20 days earlier in the afternoon. Although they should have called me, I was glad I checked. The appointment was changed for this Monday in the afternoon. I was called today and informed that my dental insurance is not in their network and I would be required to pay out of pocket for my teeth cleaning although I have dental insurance for teeth cleaning for me and my family. Needless to say the appointment was cancelled because if this is how Dr. Howell and Dr. Thomas run their front office, there is no way I am going to let them provide any dental services to me or my family. While we are at it, Andover traffic is getting real bad in the afternoons and there is at least one lane closed on Butler road everyday. Today there are two lanes closed, one in each direction and traffic is worse than normal. Have you noticed how bad the parking lot is at the dentist office. You had better have a smart car or something smaller to park at Andover Family Dental.
