If I could give zero stars, I would. This has been the shadiest experience with a "company" (I use that term loosely) that I've ever dealt with. I gave them about 10 purses to sell and in turn they gave me a login to their consignment website to track my items. I logged in and couldn't find any of my items (it seems like a beta version of an application, not easy to navigate at all - couldn't find any information about my actual account at first) but eventually things started showing up of mine that they'd sold. So I figured, ok they'll pop up here when they sell and then they'll let me know when the time is up on the contract and I come to pick everything up. I try calling them multiple times because I realize I haven't heard from them... not once. They never answer. Finally I talk to someone who says "I don't usually work in this store and I can't get to the screen I need to see to tell you what's going on". I get it, the application is awful, I tell her I couldn't get there either. I finally get in touch with someone who knows how to get in there and she says "Your things became our property in May. Our hours are "....". This is how you navigate the system. This is all property of the store now." All while talking over me, not listening to my concerns, and YELLING about her store hours and the contract I signed. She ended by telling me she didn't need to hear this (me telling her this was crazy) and hung up on me. I'm blown away that this lady is a manager. I've never talked to someone so rude, so unprofessional, so unwilling to just stop talking and listen to the issues I've been having. It was clear by how defensive and quick to anger she got that she hears these complaints often. Stay away from this place - I feel like I just got robbed, yelled at while I was getting robbed, and then told that the robbery was ok because I chose to walk into her store. Super super super sketchy place! You'll have much better luck with Poshmark and eBay. read more

I am a huge fan of Consignment Stores, so I was thrilled when Chic Boutique opened in Tyngsboro just a few miles from my house in Chelmsford. This shop is definitely more high-end than your typical resale store. They have a glass case full of wallets and sunglasses from high end names like Gucci & Louis Vuitton. The consignment clothing racks are well organized with a large sections of tops, dresses, jeans, resort-wear, prom (seasonally), and shoes. The racks are full of Michael Kors, Frye, Lilly Pulitzer, Tory Burch, Patagonia, Madewell, Free People and more! I have been happy with the quality of everything I have purchased. Most of the items are "like new." If consignment isn't your thing, don't worry! Chic Boutique does more than just consignment. They also have "Chic Exclusives!" These items are new, but in limited quantity. Some past exclusives have included "Sunday Football" tank tops, layered hoodies, leggings, and tunics. These have been some of my favorite items. If you're not local to Tyngsboro, they also have a location in Bridgewater, MA. The owner Ashley is often present at both locations, and very helpful! The girls also post items DAILY online, and hold great live-sales on facebook! For even more deals, you can join their VIP Facebook group. I would come here every day if I could! When living in Boston, I would happily make the drive to Tyngsboro to bring all my designer consignments to Chic Boutique. I lived walking distance to other consigners but Chic's pay out percentage is WAY higher than anyone in the Boston area and is so easy to do. Everything is setup via an online portal and you can either get a check for what sells or she'll give you a store credit. I almost always used any money I made to buy stuff from the store because she has such a wide variety of shoes, clothing, workout gear - you name it! And all at such affordable prices. I recently moved to Northern California and am seriously bummed that I'm not a short drive away from Chic Boutique but thankfully they have a website! I bought a sweater last week that I received less than three days after ordering - love love LOVE this place! read more

This consignment shop is second to none! I lived in Boston for a while and would consign/purchase at many of the high end consignment shops in and around Newbury St, Brookline, Wellesley, etc. They were all ok at best. When I came back to Bridgewater, I was sad to be leaving the stores I had come to know and frequent in the city. Chic opened in town and I couldn't be happier. Not only are the items of better quality, but they take FAR better care of their consignors than any store I have ever done business with in the past. read more

Not great place! They say they donate items that don't sell if you chose but I've seen them in the store. Recently asked customers to donate their earnings to support their business during hard times. Everyone is in hard times and they already take half of our earnings. Seems selfish! I really enjoyed shopping at the new Bridgewater location this week. The store is bright and clean and the girls working in there (i think one was the owner?) were friendly, even when my son was running around while I tried to try on clothes. All the clothes are clean, well taken care of, higher end products. I ended up purchasing a great pair of designer jeans and shoes to wear to an upcoming wedding. Will be checking them out periodically. read more

The fine Tyngsboro Police also made Ashley take back her slanderous statement that I was neither violent or EVER threw a shoe at anyone. Please refer to other reviews as how they lie. Up until a few weeks ago, I would have given them 5 stars. Over the last several years, I have consigned many, many of my items with them and it all worked out very well. Until - one day a few weeks ago when I went in with a friend and ended up purchasing a top. I did not try it on because it's supposed to be a bit over-sized. Anyhow, when I got home that night, I found several stains (some looked like white paint or bleach) under a front fold. I immediately called the shop and unfortunately, was unable to speak with the manager who was there when I purchased the item (and the one who knows me) because she was not there. I was told by the sales girl that she would have to contact the owner and call me back because of the "final sale" policy. I told her I understood and could send her pictures and did. I promptly received a call back and the answer was that "you could have gotten something on it while trying it on and the policy is all sales final. Thank you and have a nice day." (this was left in a message) I then sent another email to them indicating that the manager working while I was at the store could attest I hadn't tried it on so there was no way I could get anything on it. I also stated that I'm not changing my mind about an item I purchased - I purchased something they should not have had on the rack for sale. Therefore, I felt the "final sale" policy shouldn't apply. It's been three weeks and I still haven't received a reply to my email. Such an awful way to treat a long-time customer - or any customer at that. read more

this is just a heads up for all online shoppers, chic offers a online purchase and it is very convenient. But a word of caution, you should ask a lots of questions and maybe request a confirmation of what you getting on writing. I went to one of their locations because they had a "navy blue " peacoat for sale. i was helped by one of the lovely ladies that works there and she give me suggestions but not what i was looking for, i explain that i need a wool peacoat for winter nothing light and i mention that i saw one advertised in their instragram page but it was in their other location. because buying online could be difficult i figured if i go to the store and ask someone to check for me that the peacoat was navy blue no royal blue tones and that it was wool then she can send me an invoice. i trust in her expertise (they seem they know what they doing for what i see in their web) and trust that what if would get the invoice i was getting a navy blue peacoat and no royal tone (which is what i received ) and that it was wool (and it was no wool). the invoice did not have description of the item per say material just said navy coat only said "ann taylor peacoat" . what i received was a 100% cotton and royal blue , i address this issue with the seller via messenger, quoting what she wrote back " i am sorry but color is subjective specially when it comes to shades of blue if the color and heaviness was a great concern for your purchase it should have been an in person purchase not online", she quote the return policy that all sales are final, even though i express my intentions of being ok with store credit if all possible. or if i can go to the store and have a conversation about the issue with the lady who helped me . they said they will be happy to open a consignment account for me. No what i expected. i expected at least have been invited to have a friendly conversation about the issue and see what could be done, For years i worked as a fashion adviser in high end exclusive stores. when my client ask me for wool coat i will get them a wool coat no cotton, i guess the they only part their fashion adviser care about of our conversation was the part when i said "invoice me" no the specific request of the garment being wool and navy blue . i trust that she will take the time to ask those question for me to the other store and once the request was confirmed she will invoice me. no happy with this place. oh and to add, its had white noticeable stains in the front, even though they take pride of being picky and request all items being consing are clean press and ready to sell. read more

I can not say enough good things about this shop! The ladies are always on top of style, able to help me put together an outfit! I LOVE the online shopping, whether on IG, FB or their website. It's so easy , fun and the shipping is so fast! Best place to find all your favorite brands for half the price!!!! Anywhere from JCrew to Loft to Banana to Coach and high end designers-- they have something for everyone!!! Everything there is in top quality condition. The space is well laid out and they have everything from accessories-- jewelries, purses, to shoes to dresses to casual dress! There's a dressing room to try on clothes too! We did a girls night and had a blast-- some wine, good music, and great clothes PLUS an extra discount-- it was awesome! I can't get enough of this place! The store itself is so well organized and everything is SO CUTE! I always know I'm getting great pieces because of the intake process. Some of my favorite things have come from Chic and I'm not necessarily a huge consignment shopper! This place has changed the way I shop and I am always excited to get back and see what new goodies I can pick up! The owner is also a sweetheart and will help you throw an outfit together if you're feeling lost before an event. I've consigned with Chic as well and was very pleased with how fast the turnaround was. Just an all around awesome place and definitely worth checking out.
