I always find just the right accent piece when I visit this store. They have lots of holiday garlands and candles for the Christmas season with beautifully decorated over the top Christmas trees to inspire you. I only wish I had a beach house in town to have them decorate. They have throw pillows and lighting they sell off the floor as well .Lovely owner and staff. read more

Without me saying anything at all, she stated "what's wrong, are our prices not good enough for you..." and "are you turning your nose up at us..." What a great shop in AG. The owner and her design assistant were sooooo nice and accommodating. I was looking a very large piece of art for the wall above our bed and she was honest and told me that it really wouldn't work when she saw my picture of the comforter. She helped me pick out a collection of mirrors, explained to me how to hang them, drew a sketch for me, and offered to deliver for free (which I ended up not needing). Then she didn't even charge me until I got home and was sure they were the right thing for my decor. When I called and told her I wanted them, I discovered on the receipt she had given me a 10% discount. Wow in every way! read more

Initially after my purchase we were happy with the sconces we found in the store. Way too expensive but so is everything else in a store like this. Problem was, one of the sconces broke while I was putting it on the wall. I went back and asked if it was possible to find a replacement. That I would purchase the new one with the bracket if I had to even though all I needed was the glass piece. What began with a "sure, well take care of it" ended about a month and a half later with a "maybe you can just go look at Home Depot or something..." It seems the level of professionalism varies tons high degree for different customers. It's very simple, the people that are writing rave reviews about this store either dropped loads of money, redecorate a few rooms in their home and got great customer service, or have stopped in once and think the store is cute, which it is. But I had to deal with the three women that work in their for over a month. It was not fun. I got responses like "oh I'm not sure who was working on that for you but I'll find out" or "yah we are really busy so maybe you can just keep calling back to remind us". Actual quotes! I'm not an unreasonable person. The thing broke and I needed a replacement, either help me find one or don't, but how long can you string someone along when you don't actually have the time to look for what they want? They said the item I wanted was no longer being made. I can understand that, but when I first walked in this store they said they could find anything I needed and pointed to a tall wall of design books. But when I really Ned them to find something ..... The last thing they did was send me pictures of a glass piece for the sconces that looked nothing like the original and it didn't even fit. When she tried to hand me the sconces it fell off and I had to catch it or it would have broken right in front of her. What's crazy is she was wondering why the piece didn't fit and how this could have happened. As if she had never looked at the product and again she said "I haven't been here for a couple days so it was one of the other girls who prepared this. Maybe you could go buy the piece you need to make this fit..." I left just so irritated I wanted to grab my wall mounted glassesless sconces and just walk away. I should have. Instead i thought maybe they will actually try one last time. I get a call the next day from one of the other women that work their who left a mesage. She seemingly had no idea I was in their the day before (are was a complete con artist and knew what had happened) and was telling me it's all ready to go and to come get it. I walked in, grabbed my sconce, and she says "oh I guess you don't want these then?" pointing to the useless pieces that didn't fit at all. By then they saw the look of exacerbation on my face and knew they had finally gotten rid of me. Great experience ... Really worth all 5 drives down to their store.... Anyone know where I can find glass replacements for wall sconces? read more

This is my second review. I don't know where the first one is but I refused to take it down myself. I won't go into all the details but we purchased two items at this business. The chandelier was missing two glass drops which we didn't notice until we hung it. Although promised replacement parts, they never materialized. The sofa we bought came with cushions which were not what we wanted and although we were promised the company stood behind their product, it took more than six months to get replacements. We were told there had been many attempts on the part of Chic but it wasn't until I called the sofa company directly, that I was able to get new cushions. Customer service told me they had never heard from Chic. Hard to understand what did or didn't happen. read more
