It takes a very special kind of person who is not only ridiculously talented at face painting, singing and such, but also has the ability to hypnotize a bunch of three year olds to enjoy such festivities in a fairly organized manner. I said "fairly organized," friends. Michelle, the face, voice, and talent behind Chicago Balloon Twister, came to our house for our daughter's third birthday party in which she had about 10 of her "school" friends over. Michelle set up camp (with our provided card table and chairs) in our living room and started some truly amazing face painting on the kids. All of the party guests (kids) got their faces painted ranging from a butterfly, to a mermaid, to a Ninja Turtle, to a hungry dinosaur. Not only was the face art impressive to look at it, but she works oh-so-fast! Beyond the face painting, Michelle brought a suitcase full of instruments, scarves, a few balloons (our kiddos were a little young for full on balloon art), and a guitar. I would highly recommend Chicago Balloon Twister for any child's birthday party! Michelle was great to work with in helping us set everything up. She sent Rich to my nephew's birthday party and all the kids there had a great time. Rich is a great balloon artist that made anything the kids asked for and was making them laugh the entire time. We booked him for one hour for about 15 kids, and he was able to get around to each kid at least once or twice. Rich brings everything he needs to set himself up and can operate in a pretty small space. At the end of the day, there were a few parents that approached Rich to ask him for his business card so they could set up one of their kid's birthday parties. We hired Chicago Balloon Twister for my 3 yr old's and 6 yr old's combo bday party. It was fantastic. Michelle's ability to engage and entertain and hold the attention of the 3 yr olds in the room as well as 6 yr olds was brilliant. We went with a face painter too who was awesome. Her balloon crafting is amazing - she created just about anything we asked for like chewbaca, a truck, ninjas, various animals and more! Her face painting was out of this world too. I will post pictures soon, but she could create anything you basically wanted including yoda, tigers, ninja turtles, dolphins, mermaids and so much more. We attended a party in May 2015 with Chicago Balloon Twister and our 2.5 year old daughter fell in love. Hired them for her third birthday a couple of weeks ago. All the kids loved the facepaint and the entertainment of the balloons - we did 2.5 hours (1 hr face paint, 1.5 hrs balloons). The adults also thought this was great entertainment, even getting in on the facepaint. We did this in our city-sized backyard; Michelle required very little space.
