Been fighting myself either to take a CNA class or just take my nclex exam but taking the CNA class…read morewith our very humble Clinical Instructor Ms Candice has been the best decision I made in my nursing career. She's an experienced nurse and doesn't hesitate to share the good and bad side to mold us in this career. She teaches so much more than the text book and thats what makes her so unique. She also teaches us in a way that makes it easy to understand the material. I have gained so much knowledge within this short period of time. I'll definitely recommend the school and all. Thank you Ms Candice

I went through this top notch program a few years ago when my Dad suffered a debilitating stroke…read more Completely prepared me for the home health environment. Their holistic approach equips you with the know how as well enabling you with the professional compasion to provide exemplary patient care. Their program gave me the credentials needed to land a great job at a physical rehabilitation hospital even though I lacked clinical experience. The program also gave me a complete foundation to build toward an RN-BSN. I would highly recommend the program at Career Training Center of Chicago. It's afforadble - with flexible payment options. It's a concise, concentrated program that will get you quickly into the medical field. It's in depth, high quality, and comprehensive which will put you a cut above other CNAs. And it provides a great foundation to build from if you wish to pursue nursing or other allied health fields. They easily earn 5 stars.

This is an ideally located North side school that trains students on how to sterilize instruments…read moreused at hospitals, run by the knowledgeable John Ocansey and his lovely daughter Julie. Not only does he do the training but he (and Julie) goes the extra mile by helping each and every student get a job in the medical field after they graduate. One caveat here, there is no such thing as a guaranteed job! Nobody can offer you that. So the graduate MUST be flexible in regards to where they're going to work, which might mean traveling to a location that is out of the way or working inconvenient hours in order to be flexible. But once you get that experience you'll have a much better chance of getting a better position in the future. John is a man of many talents, he recruits, trains and places students in a field where there is currently a limited shortage. Both him and Julie are approachable and open to helping anybody who has a serious commitment for entering the medical field. So if you're currently unemployed seeking a fulfilling position in the medical field go see John and Julie Ocansey at AIPS, you'll be glad you did!

The teachers are top-notch, and the practice materials and exams are incredibly helpful, and all those virtual labs to clear concepts giving you a hands on experience was super helpful. I passed Comptia A+, Security+, and Network+ with them, and Patrick and Peter were amazing always there to answer my questions and clear up any confusion. They're super friendly and always give you all the info you need. Plus, having the option for both online and in-person classes made it so much more convenient. On top of all that, CTS helped me polish my resume, shared legit job leads based on the courses I took, and kept me in the loop about upcoming job fairs. Choosing CTS was one of the best decisions I've made. everything was great.

So I waited over 1 year before reviewing Symbol Job training school…read more I have to say it was a really great place to learn an excellent foundation for the machinist industry. Paul was my shop teacher and he explained everything very well and I currently use it all on my job. I also like how they taught us a few side notes about finding the right job where you can learn and grow as a machinist. To date I am on my 4th job and here is why: 1st job was just an operator and they taught us to get into a place where you can learn instead of just making the same parts all day. The pay at $14/hour was OK so it was tempting to keep it but I'm glad I upgraded after 3 weeks. 2nd job was working on HAAS mills for $16/hour which is exactly what we learned on at Symbol so it was easy but I found it a little too easy. Just mass production and I also bought a house 1.5 hours away so I needed to change again after 4 months. 3rd job was where I really learned a lot. It was a small "Job Shop" with about 7 employees and we made very different parts all the time with tight tolerances. I made $15/hour here. We also had HAAS machines and used 4th axis turrets in them. They saw that I was a fast learner and I was ambitious to start learning Mastercam Programming and I got a good foundation in programming from that. Just like the instructors said, get the right job where you can learn. They got slow on work so I was laid off along with some others so I was only there for about 7 months. 4th job making $18/hour is setting up 5 axis machines making and mostly editing Mastercam programs to make adjustments in part dimensions although I need to take some of the online classes Mastercam offers for 5 Axis programming which is only $250/class but I want to push myself anyway. I see myself here for a while as it's an excellent skill to have with Mastercam AND 5 axis machines. Overall I got a much better foundation from Symbol than many of the other coworkers who either went to a different school or learned on the job. Obviously there is always more to learn and I don't know everything but Symbol got me started. Well worth the money. Get the right job where you can grow your skills and never stop learning.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAM UNIVERSITY ::: April 22, 2026 I contacted the financial services employee…read moreI had previously communicated with multiple times during my admission at chamberlain university. I contacted him this day due to not receiving any information about my FAFSA (whether I would receive aid or not.) He replied that it would be early May before they would have my FAFSA results. I replied again asking if he was the right person to be contacting for this information or if it needed to be someone else. I got no response. On May 7th, 2026, (early May) I contacted him again to ask how I would receive the information about my FAFSA. He replied that it would now be the end of May before they knew any information about FAFSA, and said it was due to the "big beautiful bill." I continued to wait, while being enrolled in what I knew were my last two courses before I gained my bachelors degree. JUNE 2nd, I had heard nothing still and contacted him again. No response. June 24th I receive a threatening email from the school financial department about my balance. It stated to reply to the email. I replied. NO RESPONSE. June 25th I receive another threatening email again from the financial department. I reply AGAIN, NO RESPONSE. June 26th I attempted to contact the employee that assisted me with being admitted to chamberlain, she had always been responsive. NO RESPONSE from her either. June 30th, I receive another threatening email from the financial department. (I HAVE NOW FINISHED AND GRADUATED AT THIS POINT.) I again reply to the email address it specifically told me to reply to inside the email. It was returned "message failure / mailer Damon." I send another email but at this point I am fed up. I call a 1800 for chamberlain. When a woman gets on the phone she tells me that she can't see my FAFSA at all and now it's too late for me to do anything about it. I said IVE BEEN TRYING TO HANDLE THIS SINCE APRIL 22ND!!!! No cares given. She forwarded my complaint to someone else whom I have not spoken with yet. When I returned the call I spoke with another employee who could not help and only wanted to forward me to a different department. I sat on hold 34 minutes, left a voicemail, AND HAVE STILL NOT HAVE NOT BEEN CONTACTED BACK.
