I was there to get my helix pierced and, to say the least, I was terrified of the potential pain. From the moment we arrived, all the staff were incredibly welcoming, polite, and friendly, greeting us with big smiles. We were walk-ins, and I was helped by Stephanie--who was absolutely amazing! She took the time to answer all my questions before the piercing, clearly explained the pricing, and was very meticulous about making sure her station was clean and ready. That was a huge relief because hygiene is a top priority for any piercing. What really impressed me was how thorough she was. She carefully examined my auricular veins to ensure the piercing wouldn't interfere with any major veins--this attention to detail made me feel so much more at ease. She even pointed out two possible placements for the piercing, giving me the choice. The actual piercing process took less than two minutes and was done with precision and care. Stephanie gave clear aftercare instructions and was happy to answer any follow-up questions. The entire experience was smooth, professional, and enjoyable. While I can't speak on their tattoo work, I can confidently say that my piercing experience at Harm the Karma Tattoo was fantastic. He was very polite and attentive listening to my touch up idea. He did a rough sketch and we scheduled an appointment. He asked me to send him some more images for clarity of concepts about what I wanted. We emailed back and forth. He was always polite and asked questions to understand what I was envisioning: covering my existing Celtic cross with bark-like lines; adding roots to the base of the cross; adding clovers and thistles to the arms of the cross to make it a Scotch-Irish cross; making the circle on the cross into a tribal sun; & crowning it with a cockatrice (family crest). Day of the appointment I had an idea to color the cockatrice like my family crest (azure and gold) rather that the more traditional colors (green, yellow and red) we had emailed about. When I talked to Kyle about it, he really jumped on board and ran with it. Super pleased with the work he did on me. I feel really good having this piece of body art! You cannot just go inside. You have to call and be let inside the building. There are several other office areas in the building. When I called around 5:20pm on 4/12/21, no one answered and I called several times. On 4/13/21, I went in the morning around 11:20ish. I called 6 times almost back to back and no one answered. Per their hours, they opened at 11am. I ended up leaving a voicemail my last call. I really wanted to go here as I was visiting from out of town and they had consistent positive reviews for eyebrow threading. Around noon, they called me back. By that time, I had already started to head out of town to go home. The only reason why I ended up going here was because I had left my laptop in my hotel room and the hotel found it and called me. This location was close to my hotel. I arrived around 12:20pm. I called to be let it, and she answered and let me in. She did a really good job with my eyebrows. They look great and I have no complaints at all. I would definitely recommend and I would come back, if I'm in town and need my eyebrows done. My only issue or concern was with not being there/answering the phone during business hours and not being able to get into the building without being let in.
