I went in to get the immigration physical exam done. My first visit was on March 6th (right before the COVID outbreak) and got blood test and urine test done. I scheduled my next appointment to be in May but obviously it didn't happen due to COVID. However, no one contacted me about the blood results or rescheduling until now. I called this morning and it says "the phone line is out of service". There is no other way to contact them. On their website and google, it shows as they are OPEN. In my first visit, I paid $195. So what does it mean now? Do I just lose the money and I have to go somewhere else to get the thing done again? read more

Excellent facility!! I went in for my Immigration exam and they knew exactly what to do, they were fast and reliable. The doctors and staff are really friendly, everyone working with a smile on their faces even on busy days. My experience here was great, the doctor genuinely care for your health! And they make you feel welcome and want to help in whatever they can. I started my Immigration exam with another doctor in a different facility but it was awful, then coming here where people know what they are doing and are friendly....was a great change. I have been here several times for various reasons: illness, pre-op clearance, check up, prescription refills. The staff is incredibly friendly and always goes above and beyond to accommodate their patients. Once when I was very ill, the doctor and nurses and assistants stayed after closing hours to care for me, and followed up with me over the phone during the next few days as I recovered. This place treated me for back problems and assured me that workman's comp would be filed as soon as they received the claim number. The receptionist told me that the once they receive the claim number, itd be about 6 business days to get my money back. My manager confirmed with me that they contacted my employer and received the number that day. A full week has passed and my account gets overdrawn, so i call to try and see how the process has been going. Sandi tells me I gave them the wrong contact information and they basically haven't done anything towards my reimbursement. She informed me that they tried to contact my manager, the EXACT same number I use to talk to him everyday, and a spanish only individual answered. She basically lied in every way she could and then insulted my job and bank account. read more

The staff was very professional. Clean facility and amazing doctors. I wish I could take this clinic to California with me. I would give it 10 stars if possible, because the doctor here was so knowledgeable and informative. And best of all I was able to receive the right treatment. read more

I went to Chicago Medical Center to complete the immigration medical exam. The staff is very nice and professional (front desk and nurse). The price of the exam was exactly what was posted online, if you had all the immunizations needed. However, I was assigned to Dr. Kwon for the physical and I have never been more uncomfortable in a doctor's office before. He asked very inappropriate (sexual) questions about me and my partner, that had nothing to do with the exam I was there for. Even after not responding to these questions he proceeded to provide unsolicited advice. To the point that the nurse screamed "Doctor!" during his talk. I appreciate the competitive price for this exam, but I would never go back there. The only reason I give it more than 1 star is because the rest of the staff was very nice and professional. read more

UNACCEPTABLE! Never again... came here at due to extreme fever and other things. Not only did I wait 45 minutes then I am told doctor will not be in for another 2 hours. This is URGENT care. you mean to tell me that you only have 1 doctor for this whole facility? Completely unacceptable. I will definitely be telling people to stay away. UPDATE on a previous review: The first time I went I waited FIVE HOURS for an appointment that I scheduled a week prior. Everyone was very nice and the doctor was very thorough BUT, I just recieved the bill in the male stating $80+ for one visit. I was thinking wtf is going on? Called their billing who couldn't help at all so then I called my insurance company. My company told me they were in network a month AFTER I visited. When I went there they said I was in network, which was also indicated on their website. To make matters worse for some reason I went back a second time because I've been desperate to find a doctor in Chicago. Waited an hour and got the prescription I needed. I had to return to have the doctor write me a new prescription THREE times. This was after I went back to Walgreens twice... Save yourself the time and money and go somewhere else. read more

This place is absolutely HORRIBLE. DO NOT GO HERE. EVER. My PCP was out of town and I needed to get my CBC. I called them and asked the price. The receptionist said $5 self pay. WOW. $5? Done. I went and she said it would be $80 for to see the doctor also. I figured why not... So, I saw the doc, and got the blood drawn... Before that, I was sent back to the front where I was charged $130. Bait and switch. Now comes the best part. I get my blood drawn (the two male nurses were great) and I passed out likely because of stress and the fact I hadn't eaten all day. A minute to two later I come to, and the doctor looks at me and says I had a SEIZURE, then asks if I'd ever had one before. I tell him no. I ask him to clarify and he says my eyes were rolling in the back of my head. Guess what dipsh*t, that happens with vagal syncope (fainting) Way to scare someone. Even one of the nurses told me it didn't resemble a seizure at all. He was kind enough to get my some water. As the doctor (who seemed about as concerned as a drunk sailor) walked out I asked if he had any suggestions, to which he responds "If you drove I would be careful" or something to that effect. That was it. ANY responsible physician would keep a patient for observation, offer food, and make sure their patient was OK (EKG, blood pressure or at least monitor 20-30 minutes) for liability reasons amongst other things. None of that happened. I rose a bit wobbly, peed in a cup and left. 3 days later they called and said they wanted to make an appointment to discuss my results. Another *$80-100 to tell me what they could fax or email. Thankfully my PCP already called the lab and got my results a day earlier which were thankfully mostly normal. This place is a cattle call bait and switch sh*thole. I am in the process of speaking to an attorney regarding my treatment there in lieu of medical malpractice and gross negligence. read more

Staff very friendly. Facility is clean. They have scheduling issues. I got in right away for a sinus infection and received antibiotic (my primary care dr was not avail). Was asked to come back in 2 days for a follow up. DO NOT schedule a follow up. Do that with your regular dr. It's just a money maker for them and I should have been smarter. When I arrived, they were timely in taking me to a room but then I waited in there over 1 hour! I complained to the Dr. who was very apologetic and took me to the front desk where I could express my concern to the office manager. Everyone in the clinic were very accommodating and nice. I brought my vaccination/immunization reports and all that was needed and paid the $150. The other extras had to be added in case you needed additional tests or vaccinations. Even with that, it is all very affordable. I will definitely recommend to my friends. read more

Beware if you are going for an Immigration Exam they list a promotion on their website for $140 dollars but they do not mention the conditions for the promotion. The AD states that the exam, blood work, a TB skin test, confirmation and completion of required immunizations, completion of i-693 and seal records are included. We showed up for our appointment and we are given a break down of the cost totaling $333.00. I ask the nurse about the promotion (which I printed off the website) and she said that they would honor it if I have it printed (this is not mentioned on the website or when you make the appointment). I am then called up and asked to pay $375.00 (even higher) in cash. I told the nurse I was just told that the promotion would be honored. She tells me that the promotion is only for patients who have had blood work and brought their immunization records. I pointed out to her that is not what the promotion say and that if they can not honor it then it is false advertising. She said she would check with her manager. The manager then comes out and tells me the same thing the nurse just told me. I pointed out to him that this was false advertising and a crime. He tell me its unfortunate and they have ran into this problem before but they can not honor the promotion. I ask him what he can do for me he tells me the most he could do is take $25 dollars off for the flu shot. He then when on to explain to me that $350 is the standard rate set by the government and we would not find it cheaper anywhere else. I told him that we would have to think about because I needed to speak with my lawyer. I have since done this and found out that this is no standard rate set by the government each Civil Surgeon set their own rates. I also have found the exam in Skokie being done for $175 plus vaccines which depending on age should not cost more than additional $40. Add they even matched this promotion and made it $140.00 plus vaccines. I only ended up paying $180 My advice to anyone looking for a civil surgeon is call around ask for the total cost of everything before making an appointment and wasting the time I did here. read more

This place lost a star because of its websites false advertising. It says $150 for immigration exams however when you call them they tell you its $375 without immunization record. In no way does the site say you need the record nor that you have to pay and extra $225 if you dont. Also the organization skills here can use some work. However, the nurses and staff here are awesome! Very friendly and helpful. My husband is afraid of needles and they were very patient and caring with him. 5 stars for the nurses who hold this place together. Also the interior of the building is very nice, clean, comfy leather seats, and complimentary coffee and water. read more

My husband did his immigration exam here. unfortunately, it was AFTER he had already done it at another place and they did not fill out the documents correctly so he had to do it again. Dr. Odeh is the most attentive and caring doctor a person could ever ask for. Dr. Odeh takes the time to really get to know his patients. He is very thorough when asking questions or examining. All of his staff is courteous and professional. I had gone undiagnosed by two other doctors but, when I met Dr. Odeh, he knew exactly how to start caring for me. I have to say im very disappointed of this place. This lady at the counter, she said her name is Liza, was not nice at all. I came in for a medical exam for my green card application. They had/have a good price advertised ($175) which drew me in. Unfortunately they try to make their money over the vaccinations. I have an up to date vaccination record. I got told i have to get my blood checked for the MMR and VAC which is $100 ( they charge $50 each to check your blood. MMR and VAC is both a vires, Therefore u can check it in one sitting, meaning: $50!). SO already overcharged 50$! Then i got told if i have to get the MMR vaccine and the VAC ( i and chicken pocks as a child btw, so i would not need it) it would be $180 for MMR vaccine and $160 for VAC vaccine ( at Walgreens you can get a shot for MMR for $ 99.95 and VAC for $ 63.85- which i found out after the visit). Liza wrote it all down on a little white paper to show me. I was a bit shocked how expensive it is and she asked me if i wanna pay now to go through with the exam. I asked her kindly if i could get her piece of paper and she quickly put it away with saying its hers. I started writing stuff down what i could remember and then asked again i i could have a quick look ( fair enough, i don't need the paper, just the information ), in that moment the phone rang and she asked me to step back cause she is on the phone. I asked again and just said i quickly wanna have a look and she rebuked me again and said i should step back. She let me stand there for ten minutes while she was on a call where she talked really quietly. I patiently waited a i didn't want to get robbed all the way of my inner peace. After she finally hung up she write out the information about the details again ( without writing down the price for the vaccines ) and handed it to me wordless and said "thank you very much ....." I asked her kindly why she didn't hand me the other piece of paper early and she mentioned she write really badly. (???) However, i left and didn't go through with the exam. Going back in the .gov side to search for a doctor i came across this really amazing clinic in Skokie which is only a 15 min drive from my house. Oakton Health Centre. You get the exam for $185, they checked my vaccination record ( all up to date, didnt have to add anything ). The staff there is super nice and friendly, and the doctor, Dr Beatrice Paz, is so nice and sweet and relaxed and super professional. Go there. They treat you really lovely. I took my dad in at Chicago Medical Center last week to get his immigration I-693 exam done, and the staff was super helpful in helping me sort out the paperwork. The price was honestly pretty reasonable especially since I took so much of their time. This whole immigration paperwork and immunization is so confusing to me, but I am so grateful for the staff and the patience they had with my dad and I. The wait wasn't bad either, I think we waited like 10 min before they called us in, which is great cause you know how these immediate care centers operate. The doctors are awesome! I really appreciate the time they take into my concerns and well being, HOWEVER, the office is a mess. When I initially filled out my intake forms I put my sister-in-law as an emergency contact. They must have mixed it up and put her number as my home number. I tried to fix it, which I thought I had by explaining this to the front desk, and they said it was all fixed. My sister-in-law is STILL getting calls from them. Also, I tried to fill out a workers comp form which they looked confused about, and still asked for my co-pay. They always have me waiting upwards of an hour until one of the doctors walks by and says something. Again, the doctors are great, but the office is office side of things is terrible! read more

We went there for a immigration medical exam (for the green card application), but we coudln't have it done. They said to us that we have to pay $175 for the children and $350 for the adults nonetheless in the website the said is $175. Then, they said that we need to go 3 times to have the exam completed and also that we don't need the I-693 form completed, which it sounds very wrong to me because in every web I have read about the immigration exam said that you need to bring the I-693. In addition to that, it bother me that my husband has called the day before asking about all the process and they didn't told him about the three visits. I saw in other clinics that you can have the exam done in only two visit. Well, we went there looking for something quick and easy but it wans't what I expected. read more

This place offers a Certified Civil Surgeon, and have a special price for medical exams and it is a good price. The place looks clean and they do have a pharmacy inside for medications. They do not offer parking but there is plenty of street parking. On their website they do say they do accept records from other clinics but if you do not have your records, they will give you more shots and you will end up paying a lot more. So if you do have your records bring them and make sure you ask what they are looking for so you are ready. Another thing that it was confusing is that they do not have name tags on them and they do not tell you their title. There was a lady in front and a man going back and forth that some people called them doctors but when I talked to them they did not say they were doctors. The front desk was two ladies and one of them was very helpful while the other not so much, the helpful one I think her name is Beatriz but I am not certain. read more

Came in at Chicago medical center with my elderly mom last week whom has been sick for some time now and is a regular in seeing doctors. Place is quite. Waiting time was average as some offices are longer. Not sure what to expect. Never before was my mom seen by Dr. Odeh as she thought it was like any other doctor visit from her previous experiences. Let me tell you , I am BLESSED to have found Dr. Odeh ! REALLY!!!! Can not thank him enough for treating and understanding my moms medical condition that other doctors were careless or just oversaw my moms condition because she is an elderly. Dr. Odeh sat us down and spent the time to really understand my moms medical history, medication, all that ... in fact , three of the medications my mom was taking for years now , were told to throw them out and that they were not necessary to have been prescribed ever. Through the years my mom was taking them and only to find out that Dr.Odeh's who we never before visit , and what he recommended in the past week has significantly been made a huge difference in my moms medical condition!! He is truly a blessing. I highly recommend Dr. Odeh to anyone regardless of your condition, he really takes the time to understand what problems or conditions your coming in for. He's very intellectual and from what he says "He really enjoys when he treats his patients because it's rewarding to him" . Pleased to announce I am now a patient of Chicago Medical Center and I have had an overall exceptional experience. I went in on a very short notice and the staff was friendly and totally accommodating to all of my needs. The desk staff are friendly and smiling upon your arrival. They had me fill out some basic paperwork and assured me I would be seen in a timely matter. Xavier the facility manager came out and greeted me and asked if I would like some water or if there was anything that could bring me comfort during my visit which was a breath of fresh air. I was shortly after taken to a room where they started to take my vitals at that time staff was walking around and all smiled and greeted as they passed my view sight. I waited in the room for about five minutes until Dr Kwon came in and greeted me while asking me what he can do to help me and asked a lot of questions to ensure I got diagnosed appropriately. Dr Kwon was very friendly and patient with my questions. After going over some things I was given a prescription for my symptoms and was also shared some home remedies that I can incorporate to my medication so I can get better sooner which was awesome. After the doctor was finished Xavier came in and asked me if I had any further questions or needs before we discharged for the day. I was content and happy with my overall visit. Xavier walked me out and then informed me that I can fill my prescription in the SAME building which was super super convenient. The pharmacist was very nice as well and took no longer than 5 minutes to fill my prescription. Overall my experience was phenomenal and would highly suggest anyone in the Chicagoland area looking for a professional, friendly, clean, and quick environment Chicago Medical Center is the place for you. read more

My friend went here for his immigration medical exam and paid $350. I went with him to pick up the documentation and made sure to ask if they were going to validate the information in MX because the attorney said it might nt be valid he had to have it down out there. They reassured us that it was going to be valid to just take the sealed package . He went to MX and had to get another medical exam out there because the package that he was given wasn't valid he had to pay another $450. The immigration physical has to be done only at their 3 locations in Ciudad Juarez. Very disappointed that $350 was a waste of money! read more

My husband has been receiving care at Chicago Medical Center for almost a year.The clinic is clean and bright, and the staff is friendly and deeply considerate.Dr. Odeh takes the time to listen and respond, and takes his patients' budget and preferences into account in his treatment decisions. He treats the whole patient, not just surface symptoms. When issues arise, the office finds time for my husband so he doesn't have to suffer for days waiting, and they check on him between visits. Originally, my husband had planned on going to Chicago Medical Center once when his former MD couldn't find time to see him for what we'd considered a major issue, and her office chose to ignore. It's now his primary care.Yes, there have been visits that ran overtime, but the service and respect we receive at all times is worth it. so I just came and left thus supposed urgent care that refused to help me for my eye infection. on the outside of the building plus the front page of their website it states urgent care and walk in. I walk in and the receptionist tells me they are neither if those things. Then she tells me they don't accept my insurance when their website says they do. Then I tell her Ok fine, I'll pay cash. Then she tells me a supervisor will come out to talk to me. why do I need a supervisor to talk to me when I am paying Cash? and once again their website states they accept self pay and have self pay options. I sit for 30 minutes no one comes out. I ask her what's going on. she completely ignored me and would..it make eye contact with me at all. I showed her their own website where it stated everything and she refused to look at it. wtf! chicago medical center how do i start with this amazing and caring clinic the front desk staff was so friendly so caring to my concerns!! . chicago medical is bright and clean ,the bathrooms were cleaned everyting in order the pharmacy there is open to late meeting every ones needs !! the seniors were treated with so much care the staff helped them get up and attended to them ! i was offered something to drink yesenia in triage made me feel so comfortable assuring me that everything will be ok. joseph and paula in the lab they were so professional explaining all labs in detail that the dr ordered ! the wait was 10min and the owner niel welcomed me ive never have gone to a clinic were the staff was so attentive a 5 star all the way i went in with a very sensitive issue and dr. odeh heard me out .bedside manners a 10 star this amazing dr. i cant even thank him enough everything he said he would do he did and my results were even more than what i expected he let me see the light at the end of the tunnel this caring dr. saved my wedding he fixed me just as he said he would when no other dr. would i cant thank dr. odeh enough i would recommend chicago medical to all my family friends and everyone that i come across with there treatment to everyone is equal from the kids to the seniors i liked that i saw all nationalities pts at chicago medical center i notice that they were not just a number but more treated like family i will be making dr odeh my primary dr. and his asst dr. d was also friendly making sure that all my meds were sent to the pharmacy when i was done mohhamed had all my petscriptions filled explaing all detail from when i enter this clinic to the end i was 100% taken care of as i watched all others receiving the same treatment this is definately a true caring clinic that u must visit read more
