I have never been so insulted.. I am employed with the City of Chicago. I have BCBS PPO insurance. I went to the clinic because I'm a guy of course with no doctor. I had had injured my leg ( not while working) . Long story short it became badly infected, they treated me kept me out of the hospital. So I was being seen daily for a week About 15 days into treatments, The front desk says you have to pay 1/2 your bill or we REFUSE to treat you.. ( mind you I've never even seen a bill). I said I get paid in 2 days, I'm out of antibiotics. THEY DENIED TREATMENT if he didn't pay 180. 00 on a 15 day old bill that didn't even go through the insurance yet. read more

This use to be a really great convenient option for urgent care. Now it seems all they do are rapid Covid tests, which slows everything down. Came here for covid testing. Literally the worst testing experience I've ever had. Unless you urgently need a rapid test, AVOID. Waited 40 minutes for my apt. Staff was rude and made my nose bleed. I have been tested previously and it was quick and easy. I can't urge you more, go to Walgreens instead!!!! read more

I used to think this place was pretty sub par, even a little grimey with the side hustle of minor cosmetic surgery they got going on. I only kept going back because it was close, took my insurance, and had walk-ins. I have to say it was really just my former provider that sucked. My new provider, a PA, has impressed me greatly in the two visits I've had with her. The front desk staff is still rude and outright homophobic, and I'm pretty sure the lab tech was hitting on me, but at least I don't feel like I'm taking risks with my health anymore! read more

I took my mother here on a Saturday figuring it might be quicker than an E.R. She didn't have to wait long and received such excellent care that I decided to start coming here myself despite it is not in my insurance's network. I hooked up with Dr.Johnson and she was fantastic. The whole staff- from the front desk to all the nurses and P.A's - are professional, helpful and friendly. Feeling so sick, loss my voice and cough fevor the works and sad that my own doctor couldn't see me I went to this neighborhood care station. The front desk reception was very nice and hard working. First a student doctor took care of me and was kind and professional. She made her recommendations to Dr. Thomas who was also very attentive and had me get a chest exray and blood work which was right in the building which was great because I felt terrible and this sped things up. The exray technician also was wonderful. The only negative was the lab technician that was very rude and shouldn't be around other human beings especially people that are sick. read more

I visited evergreen care center on wednsday oct 16 th with my son who had a severe ankle break.the treatment he received was totally professsional and to me more importantly very compassioate.Dr Priebe diagnosis was spot on after reading the x-rays and nurses by the name of Diana and Lisa were obviously well trained and cared a great deal as they cared for my son. They immobilized a severely broken ankle so we could go to the hospital with the least amount of pain. I have been to this care center before and it's great to know your dealing with professionals every time. they actually called the next day to see how he was doin---don't see that much nowadays ---thanks a lot. This place is a scam! I came in here to get a Covid Test. According to their website, they offer Covid Testing no appointment necessary. Great! Signed in, took a seat. This is the scam. The clinic wants to charge you a co-pay to see the doctor even though you are not sick . Once the Doctor sees you, then they perform the covid test. They want your complete medical info and a debt card so they can keep on file. This is very strange especially for a covid test. Mind you this is not urgent care. If this was an urgent care visit, I wouldn't care. Their only response was "This is the policy to see a doctor for a covid test". Strange. They also said they are a private business and receive no state funds. All they need to do is bill the insurance (they still receive money). I took my ID's and left. Instead, I went to SMS in Oak Lawn. SMS was much easier, same day appointment, no out of pocket costs, no doctor visit needed and efficient. Just beware of this place when you need a covid test. Again it does not state this on their main website, instead you really have to dig for it. This can be very deceiving and a waste of your time. read more

I took my son here who had complaints of an ear ache- It was a Friday afternoon, they take my insurance and didn't have to drive downtown to his primary doc. To start, he staff at the check in counter was eating pizza while I was trying to check in and not very friendly to say the least. Once we got into our room, we were seen my a nurse practitioner student (which I saw on her name tag) who was very abrupt and said he had an ear infection in the ear that was not bothering him. Doc came in took a look and had an ear infection in both and the one she said was fine was 'full blown, very bad' infection according to doc. It was awkward with him correcting her which she obviously needed but I feel that I should have been told she was a student. And I feel like a nurse or the doc should have been in the room for the initial check-up she performed as the doc had to retake all vitals etc. Also, the waiting room space could really use a refresh or at least a good cleaning- it's very dated. Now, weeks later I received a bill for the entire amount of the visit. I called the billing department and they told me that was my deductible. After about 20 minutes and being transferred they figured out it wasn't submitted to insurance- which is what I told them the entire time. Bottom line, I wouldn't go here again despite the doctor being good. They need to get it together. read more

I got hurt at work and this is one of the urgent care clinics in the area. Staff is very knowledgable and polite. Dr. Thomas was great. Knew what he was talking about. Really knowledgeable of my knee mechanics. The male nurse was down to earth and made me feel comfortable even when he have me a shot in butt. read more
