I only started this review as I saw this Yelp site, but really the review is more about the Advocate Medical Group housed here (and they have their own Yelp review site). There's not much more to say about the facility itself except it's convenient with good hours, and has a big convenient parking lot that is often filled! Our PCP, Dr. Ellen Aleksandrovich, is the best and she is very competent, caring, communicative, proactive, and empathetic to the patient's needs. Their systems also work great and responsively without long waits - systems meaning phone calls or messages, their PA staff, their website which is used for both medical info storage as well as messaging, their billing and payments system, their appointment scheduling, their lab appointments system and staff, etc. They also have several specialists based here that we see, and they have the same support system. We routinely get bloodwork and sometimes imaging done here. They are part of the Advocate Medical Group and in turn associated directly with the excellent Advocate Lutheran General Hospital nearby. In our experience, it's a big thumbs up for Nesset Pavillion and the Advocate Medical Group staff here.

I would just as soon take none of these drugs (I mean I'm not even getting high from them ) As it turns out its been over 1 year since my last physical so I figured I might as well have the tests done. I guess the fact that I have insurance they figured out they might as well order everything deluxe and do Lab Tests, EKG, Ultrasound (Am I pregnant ?). Anyway 2 hrs seems a bit excessive. The attending resident doctor did a very good job and was very through, but the front desk staff leaves a lot to be desired. When I arrived the girl asked me if I could hold on for a minute. I waited for about 5 minutes and finally realized there were a couple of other people that could have checked me in. When I left there were only 2 people. As I walked out the first person just walked away and didn't say anything so I checked out with the other person.

Really enjoyed getting to know all these ladies. The doctor is thorough and seems to care about doing a good job and making sure you have lasting results. I only went to this doctor and didn't check pricing at other places, so I'm not sure if the procedure pricing is comparable to other offices. It seemed a little high, but the customer service was very good - they always run on time, answer the phone immediately when you call, and give a courtesy call the next day after you have a procedure to make sure you're doing okay. The pricing is the only reason for 4-star review instead of a 5-star review.

I think physicians get a bad reputation on Yelp because it's mainly complainers who didn't get their way. They want something that won't produce the results they're looking for and complain whether they get it or not. That's besides the point. What I love most about this office is the attentive care received from everyone on staff. I always know what to expect, appointments are timely and easy to make, and my doctor is open and honest with me. If I want something done and he doesn't think it will do much good, he's honest about that. That's what truly stands out. An independent medical practice where they aren't trying to just receive money and add unnecessary procedures. What's more is the wide variety of languages spoken by staff. Highly inclusive environment and great for anyone who might have anxiety going into medical offices.

From the initial call with the receptionist Vicki who was very thorough polite attentive and knowledgeable the friendly receptionist who greeted me upon arrival and Dr Forni himself everyone really made me feel good about going to the Dr. This practice was night and day compared to other medical specialists I have been to lately. I'm so tired of going to physicians and getting five to ten minutes of a specialists time being treated rude and like the provider is doing me a favor. I can't tell you how often I've thought how can a person who has to be making 300k plus and is their own boss be so miserable . Dr Forni is not that type of Dr he spent over and hour thoroughly examining talking to and explaining things to me. He seems a genuinely happy down to earth professional with a wonderful personality. He explained my issue was more of an acute than chronic issue and that in light of the fact my insurance didn't cover orthotics he could construct something himself to provide relief. The Center for Advanced Care also includes LGH's Caldwell Breast Center which does mammograms, ultrasounds, etc for women, and which she also utilizes annually. Fortunately we don't need to visit very often here otherwise but it is nice and convenient to have this facility and its specialized services so close to home and with easy, free garage parking and access. Staffers are great and the whole operation is well organized. Big thumbs up, but don't come here without insurance coverage unless you want to go under, eeek!
