Best home care establishment in town. Helpful staff. They have been in business many years.

My how times have changed. Let's start on the outside, shall we? You can't find parking and…read moremay have to park way out in the parking lot. You do see people parking in the road but I'm not going to get a ticket for blocking the roadway. They don't take all insurance. Maybe they changed but they don't take that GoodRX. The worst thing about this is MISS cleo. She's hateful, disrespectful, just rude as can be and it kills her soul to speak to you to say hello. She dyes her hair black and looks like an elderly Morticia from the Addams family. Then you have the little dude who used to work the counter. Such long hair. Maybe they should pay him enough so he can buy product so it won't look like he's being electrocuted with the frizzies? Last time I saw him, he had a coat on with the pharmacies name that was like four times too big. I guess he's not worth or going to hang around long enough to get a coat that fits him. Things started going down hill when that Amanda left. She was nice but vain. Then you have the little girls who think they're a 10 but really like a 3 who think every guy who comes in is going to hit on them. Rarely, do you ever get anyone in there that can just say hello, glad to see you or whatever. It's old MISS cleo with her grating voice hollering "NAME!" They still have that plastic sheet up from the pandemic. Maybe it's to keep MISS cleo from grabbing the customers? Granted, I do find it interesting to hear her regale her times during the war, the War Between The States, that is. There really isn't much of a wait time when you go there. I figure a lot of customers got tired of the attitude and went somewhere else. Even the doctor I go to in that same building, know of them and how difficult they can be. You have to watch MISS Cleo. If you have a drug that has refills on it, she'll refill it for you if you don't ask. This was a controlled substance. I had to tell my doctor about this. I told her I had a part bottle and two unopened bottles of this stuff. It made it look like I had been using very little of this med for years and then suddenly maxing out on it. She said to look at meds at the counter and to refuse them if they pulled that again. Miss cleo's hairis jet black. It's really quite a site to see. No one but her hairdresser and everyone in town knows for sure. Do yourself a favor, if you're looking for a pharmacy, you haven't found one in this joint. I did contact the licensing board over this old gal. The board either issues or revokes. They don't mediate. I came very close to filing a complaint against them.

I'm not always the best customer to deal with. Never rude just late way too much. I won't go into my personal life but it has been in a vice for many years and contributes to my tardiness to say the least. They always greet me with a smile and go far beyond the call of duty to make sure they are doing everything in their power to be a great place to do business. If you're debating which pharmacy to use, debate no more. I manage one of my family's store and I've been doing customer service for almost 20 years. No one and I mean no one, adds up to these folks. Do yourself a favor and chose them first. There is a lot that you don't have to worry about about once you do. Thanks again guys for putting up with me and making me feel like I matter.

People from this area visit CVS, Gray Highway in Macon after hours. It is very convenient when you have family and friends who need medication or other pharmacy items after the other pharmacies close. They are always nice, helpful and courteous to me. Only once did they have to order my prescription and I chose to wait rather than try to take it somewhere else. They are always super busy at the drive through and inside the store so please be patient and forgive them if they can't push your order to the front of the line. So lets appreciate the fact that we have this convenience and give the pharmacists and staff the same grace that you want others to give you.

What a dump! Their prices are higher and their attitudes are on full blast…read more The one little nasty guy will eventually wait on you, just stare at you while he has his headphones in. I'm not competing for his attention with headphones. You can't get anyone on the phone. It goes to an automated system. When you get to the counter, you have to do their job of signing in, putting in your details to be ignored until they take the time to do you the favor of attending to you. I'm considering taking his pic next time to send to corporate. Sure, if you want to listen to your music while you're working, fine. But, don't try to deal with the public with your headphones in. The med I said don't put on auto refill, they did. The med I asked to be put on auto refill, they did not. Every month it was the same thing of they don't have it ready. And, they playing the price game of raising the cost every month. Drive through? Why? I have sat with maybe four cars in front of me for 30 minutes or more. If a script isn't ready, why not say drive around and not make everyone wait. Terrible service. Everything in this store is priced like it's downtown Atlanta and not broken down east Macon. This has to be one of the hardest stores to get in and out of that I've seen in my life. If you're going east, you have to immediately get in that lane that's merging left but you need to go right. Hope no one hits you. Getting out is even worse. It's very, very difficult to go left across all those lanes of traffic but you'll have some poor, foolish person try it and hold up a line of cars trying to get out. Once I made the mistake of going a block behind that CVS and around. I will never do that again. Talk about looking like a warzone. This place is trying to run every other pharmacy out of business so that you have to deal with them.
