This was my second time eating here, and the experience was sadly lacking…read more I hate giving mom-and-pop shops lower ratings, so I will emphasize that this experience happened at 7:30pm on a Monday (the day before they close for two days). We placed an order through their preferred app. The food prices online are definitely (and expectedly) inflated. It will be cheaper to order in the restaurant. Our total for two sandwiches and two sides of rice and beans was $54.72 (including a tip). When we arrived at the time our food was supposed to be ready, we were told that they had not started cooking the meal. Then, we were told that they only had enough lettuce for one of the two sandwiches, so we chose one sandwich to have lettuce and the other without. They brought out our food 15 minutes later, and they gave us a complementary dessert to make up for the trouble, but the issues did not end there. When we opened the box to eat the sandwich, there was barely any lettuce on it--the sandwich would have been better if they omitted the lettuce completely. Additionally, the chicken sandwich was, unfortunately, dry. I had to put sauce on it at home to make it edible because of how dry it was. Sadly, it will be a little while until I try this place again.
