First time visiting a Chick-fil-A and I'm not at all impressed. We went through the Drive Thru where we waited 10 minutes in line just to place our order. Once we reached the order takers (who are outside for some weird reason) we were asked what we wanted to order before we ever reached the digital menu display (heaven forbid we want to learn about the menu before ordering). We decided to order two Chicken Sandwiches. After we placed our order we waited another 10 minutes in the Drive Thru until we received our order. Even though we had our order in hand, we were boxed in at the Drive Thru for another 5 minutes before we could even leave because we were stuck behind other vehicles still waiting for their order. Not sure if this counts as ambiance, but the drive thru experience was the worst I've encountered in years. When we got home, our Chicken Sandwiches were literally just burnt chicken with pickles on a bun - no sauce or other toppings. Not worth $7 a sandwich at all. TL;DR - Pass on this restaurant. Trying to change industry norms in all the most inexplicable ways. read more

I have been to the Barrie Location three times. The very first time we eat inside the restaurant. They give you a card and you sit down and they bring the food to you afterwards. This location was very busy at the time we visited. When our food arrived the waffle fries were cold and the fries were so small we were both shocked. The Sandwich was just ok and Luke warm. We didn't want to complain at that time as they were very busy. When we arrived home we phoned the company and complained after spending over $50 plus TAX and we got the standard line. "OH we are so sorry Sir we will contact the owner and let him know about your concern" THATS IT , REALLY. It is quite apparently that complaining to CHICK-fil-A is a complete waste of time. The food wasn't that great compared to how Chick-fil-A tastes in the US I hear for a couple people the food was generally good for other people but on this particular day the food was not good for us the only thing that was good was the waffle fries that are pretty good overall and they had kids meals too that if you have any kids hanging with you definitely get them some of these food and I've never seen a Chick-fil-A with a drive-through that doesn't actually look like good ride through anyways the food was fine but not what I expected. read more

i have gone back to chick-fil-a a couple of times since my last review and the food is still great. One thing to note is that the manager did a great job of checking up on the status of the order , which was nice and efficient of him to do. I definitely love the taste of the grilled chicken items. One point i would suggest for improvement is if the order takers knew the differences between the dipping sauces that chick fil-a have and could recommend which would compliment certain chicken menu items better. Went for the first time. Small piece of chicken that didn't fill the bun. Couldn't even get a pack of vinegar for my fries--too American to carry it. Brought my food to the car before the person in front of me. The person ahead had a big order that took a long time so my food got cold waiting to get out of the drive-thru. First of all, I do love Chick-fil-a. I have been a fan for long time and I have never had an issue. However, on Sept 16, 2023, I visited the Bayfield location in Barrie, ON to pick up food for my kids. I ordered a 12pc nugget combo, a kids Meal, a chicken sandwich, a Chicken club and fries. Drove home and found out they had not given us the 12 pc nuggets. (Order #237991) I would have driven back but it is about 15 minutes one way so another 30 minutes round trip just to go get nuggets that should have been in my bag to begin with. But since this was $15 of my $49 order that I did not receive I decided to call the Chick-fil-a number. My info was taken by a very nice person on the phone and they assured me that the store manager would get back quickly. Today is Oct 1st and the store manager has still not gotten back. I am pretty sure the store manager does not care if customers are getting shorted food on their orders. I know it is a busy location but that is no excuse for not calling a customer. I will think twice about where I will pick up food next time. I just wanted to share, in case anyone else tries to call about a mistake, save your breath. read more

The dirtiest Chick-fil-A that I have ever visited. Counters at the cash registers are filthy and tables do not get cleaned between customers. To top it off, the food is so-so, making me crave the quality at U.S. stores. I won't likely return and by the emptiness of the restaurant, I would say that many others feel the same way. Overhyped. Stupid lineups for chicken you could get any where else.. Just got a sandwich combo. Waffle fries were soggy and limp. And they charge extra for lettuce or tomatoes. Got stuck in drive thru behind people ordering for 15. Had my meal eaten before I could leave the line. Staff taking orders and filling them in line is ok. Let's see that at -15 in the winter.
