Not the typical Chick-fil-A experience. There was nobody in the drive thru area, only one line and you ordered at the window / speaker. App order took 30 minutes to pick up in the drive-through and the employee did not speak ONE word at the window pick up, especially not a "my pleasure" The chicken minis were thrown into a box upside down, but still tasted yummy as always. Disorganized Service and Poor Communication I want to share my experience at Chick-fil-A, store # 02231 in Warrensville Heights, OH, today at about 7:20 pm, which unfortunately was very disappointing. When we arrived, we waited in line for about five minutes (in the lane closest to the pick up window) before reaching three employees who I assumed were supposed to be taking orders. While we were waiting, we noticed the employees dancing and playing around. At the time, I wondered why the car in front of us wasn't moving. One of the employees eventually mentioned that her credit card reader was not working. When it was finally our turn, one of the employees told us to pull forward to the area where the menu was posted. When we stopped there, she instructed us to continue pulling around. While waiting another five minutes, I noticed another employee standing nearby, and she took one order before disappearing without acknowledging us or letting us know she would be back. I eventually pulled forward again because there were no employees in sight and the cars in front of us had already left after getting their orders. When we reached the window, there were two by the register, a young lady and a young man. The young lady asked for my name. I explained that no one had taken our order and described what had happened. Both employees looked confused. The young lady tried to assist us and understand what happened but seemed unhappy while doing so and walked away after telling the young man to take our order. The young man who took our order: a regular Chick-fil-A meal with a medium lemonade, a grilled chicken wrap and Polynesian sauce. We waited in line for another five minutes before he returned to tell us that they did not have the grilled chicken wrap available. Even though I didn't really want it, I agreed to replace it with a regular chicken sandwich. While we were waiting during those five minutes, the young man was bringing orders out to the cars behind us. I finally asked if they ( the young lady and young man) would like us to pull forward to one of the open parking spots since the cars behind us received their food and could get out but no one responded. The only response was the young lady from earlier asking loudly how long our order would take. When we finally received our food, there was no Polynesian sauce and my mom's drink was missing, so we had to request those items again. The gentleman who assisted us did apologize for the wait and told us to have a good evening. There was also a woman who appeared to be a manager explaining to staff that there had been some kind of issue and that we should be the only car affected. However, she never acknowledged us or asked if everything had been resolved. I have never experienced such a disorganized Chick-fil-A location. While no one was outright rude, the usual friendly and upbeat customer service that Chick-fil-A is known for was completely missing. Overall, the experience was frustrating and poorly managed. Unfortunately, because of this visit, I will not be returning to this location. read more

I use CFA all the time for work lunches. Never use this one but had to because my usual one is being remodeled. I got my order of box lunches, drove 30 minutes to my lunch and discovered no sandwiches in any box. The location hasn't refunded me and has not tried to make this right in any way. Beware of this location. I agree with some of the other reviews. Definitely not a usual CFA. Everyone working there seems annoyed by customers and has no communication abilities. I really like this location. We decided to dine in on a snowy night. The employees were very nice and accommodating. My Chicken deluxe sandwich was delicious and I chose pepper jack cheese on top. I ordered one large diet lemonade on the app while I was in the parking lot and confirmed that I was at the store electronically. I got a text back saying 2to6 minutes. When I went inside, I noticed lots of the workers standing around and chitchatting, but not working. After nearly 10 minutes, I went up to the counter and asked where my order was. Clearly they were to blame the customer well, you didn't tell us you were here. They had called out everyone else's orders, but apparently decided not to call mine out. They said I should've told them I was there which I did on the app. Definitely poor Service in direct contrast to the location on Mayfield Road where I have always gotten happy friendly and very efficient service, especially through their Drive-through lane for orders on the app. read more

I was not impressed with the quality of food. I ordered chicken tenders and the pieces I received were half the typical size and mostly breading. Diet Coke tasted like Dr. Pepper. This may be the worst Chick-fil-A I have ever been to. I have been going to CFA restaurants since I was a boy, a long time ago. I have been to over a hundred location throughout the US as the chain expanded. This location simply does not live the CFA culture. I love Chick-Fil-A and my kids love it even more than me! But today's visit the ball was dropped. We did decide to go late in the evening, and I make it a point not to patronize businesses close to closing, but we were out and I had a taste for a spicy grilled chicken sandwich. Unfortunately I did not get that. Our order was completely wrong, fries were cold and hard, no dressing for my husbands salad, and our drinks were flat and tasted weird. As an Atlanta native, and a former 3 year employee of CFA, I cease to be amazed at the poor quality of the CFA brand in Ohio. I showed up at 8 am to get my standard breakfast including a CFA biscuit with waffle fries. They refused to make fries. Yes I said it-- refused, despite me asking multiple times for clarification. I've been to chickfila for the last 30 years and never once been refused an item... anyways, I drove up the interstate to another CFA who did happily serve me. What happened to this location? The service and quality of food has gone down. I had to throw my food in the trash today after a few dry and tasteless bites. The food just isn't the same quality anymore. It is often not hot ( especially the grilled chicken sandwiches) the cheese is never melted when I order the grilled chicken sandwich. The fries are either overcooked and cold or just barely warm. The sweet tea is barely sweet, the lemonade ( what happened to the lemonade???) why is there so much pulp in the lemonade? If I order lemonade, I have to take it home and strain it in order to drink it, who wants to have to chew their drink? None of the employees say my pleasure anymore ( perhaps a memo went out saying they are no longer required to provide the customary service we all have come to know Chick-Fil-A for). This is my favorite Chick-fil-A location. There is a newly opened Chick-fil-A near by however they are still figuring things out there. This location drive through always busy, so use your app to order ahead to skip the line or go inside for sure it is faster. Plus any problems with your order they will tend to assess it faster. I generally order deluxe chicken meal with vanilla milkshake as a beverage they have complimentary water and their original sauce is just delicious. I could do without chicken except I think I can't do without Chick-fil-A sandwich.... employees always say "my pleasure" once you say thank you, it is a classy fast food experience really. It's a good place to bring a kid (fun little play area), and they have grilled options, but the quality control here isn't great. First off, I ordered an 8pc grilled chicken nuggets for my son and got fried instead. When I went back after realizing it, they exchanged the order but gave me only 7 pieces -- of which 2 were basically half-sized. My son did enjoy them; they were flavorful but VERY salty. They have a ton of sauces to choose from, but I didn't think they needed any more salt, so I didn't try them. read more

HOT FOOD IS OVERRATED...WHAT A NOVEL IDEA!!! Let's leave someone's order at an empty table unattended instead of bringing it to the actual marker where they are sitting! It will sit there indefinitely cooling until finally an employee is prompted to locate it. Surprisingly, the fries and sandwiches were cold, but the mac and cheese was still thankfully warm. Honestly, we were hungry and could have eaten the table by then, but between employees ignoring food/drinks as ordered, one must contemplate why we didn't go somewhere else? My family and I were so excited that our local CFA (Harvard Park) was open again, but so far they have been abysmally poor with respect to customer service. "My pleasure" means very little when one doesn't even listen to the customer when they order and/or read the food/drink order. I like to give folks the benefit of the doubt as often as I can, but leaving the food at an empty table? COME ON! Who actually orders food and wants it left unattended at an empty table to cool for who knows how long as opposed to receiving said food and eating it? Maybe they were worried we would burn our mouths on hot, fresh food and were simply being proactive? The employee who found it gave the impression of "well, here is your cold/lukewarm food" and "you should be happy that you are getting anything" rather than "we messed up so let's fix it." Never mind that they do not want to accept any ketchup or sauces back that have been unopened...once distributed they must be thrown away. HOWEVER, we can leave food unattended at a table for an indefinite period and it is no longer our responsibility. It is the customer's fault for not actively monitoring the entire restaurant in the off chance that an unattended tray of food is theirs. I would have been happy waiting up front by the registers and taking the tray with our food when it was actually fresh. Yet they insist on giving a table placard and bringing the food out to the table or in this case leaving the food at any table, even an unoccupied one. My family and I have been loyal CFA Harvard Park customers for years (and have experienced a wide spectrum of service levels) but at least the food was always consistently good. This entire experience was shoddy: the food was substandard and the service was pretty non-existent, so what are you left with? read more

This Chick Fil-A experience can't be compared to any fast food service I've ever had, nor expected. Around noon on a weekday, I pulled in to see that there were 10+ cars in line at the drive through. I had already mentally committed my taste buds to some Chikn Nuggets, but thought about leaving since that's not the easiest food to eat on the road. But then, like an angel coming down, I saw a sign for dippable ketchup containers; equal to 3 packets of ketchup. And since I eat like a toddler and only want my nuggets with ketchup, this sold me to stay in the line. I approached the window to order my meal, when I got the bad news their fountain drink systems were down. Even though this would have normally angered me, the apologetic woman working the window made me at ease about having to drink lemonade with my meal. They are very kind, courteous and profession young adults working here, which is rarely seen anymore. The way Chick Fil-A runs their company is amazing and I wish more places took the time and money to train their employees in this manner. It's reason enough to return again and again. read more
