We have been seeing Dr Liz for 7 years now and she (and the rest of the practice) is the absolute best! She is extremely knowledgeable and always has time to listen to and discuss any concerns I have. The rest of the staff are always friendly and helpful. We have always been able to get in same day for sick visits when needed. Anytime a friend needs a pediatrician I always recommend this practice because they are the best! This practice is the primary care for both of my kiddos. They're warm, welcoming, and well-staffed. Yes, even during these last several years! We love everyone from the folks behind the reception desk to the medical assistants, and of course our primary physician. We have been going here since 2018 and can't recommend it enough. I will note that if you're calling for a same-day appointment, you have to call during business hours. Otherwise, the overnight nurses are wonderful for those middle-of-the-night or weekend sickies. Finally, there have been the occasional wait of around 10 mins before getting seen by a doctor, which can be tough if you've got a sick toddler, but most of the time, the wait isn't beyond 5 mins. read more

Dr. Liz takes care of both of my kids and has for years. She is a wonderful, caring pediatrician who uses evidence based practices to treat my kids with the safest, most effective treatments and makes sure they are up to date on all their preventative care needs. It has been easy to schedule but their well child checks along with get an appointment when needed for an acute problem. It's a well-run office with caring staff. read more

We've been going to Dr. Spero (Spyridon Papadopoulos) for the last two years and have had an amazing experience. He's extremely knowledgeable, friendly and my kids have grown fond of him. The staff is responsive when we've had urgent issues after hours, always able to fit us in for sick appointments and extremely helpful when we've had follow up questions/needed referrals placed. They are associated with Children's Hospital so in the unfortunate chance your child ever needs to be admitted they can communicate and see each others records. Best of all they recently moved to a new office which we haven't been too yet but excited to go see. read more

This practice has been my son's medical care since he was 1 month old. They are professional and courteous. They always help in whatever the situation-from daycare colds to Covid, flu shots to understanding developmental markers. The last time I called (in regards to a positive Covid test for son) the woman on the phone was incredibly empathetic. She was also flustered and shared she'd just been yelled at twice by two different moms who were looking for Covid tests for their children. Terrifying, I know. The scheduler felt horrible, understood the pain the moms were in, and was grateful I wasn't yelling at her. I'm writing this mostly because I know it's easy to blame and feel separated when there is a sick child. I've always felt like this practice has had my back. read more

The doctors at Children'd Medical Center are incredible. We have seen nearly all of them and have no complaints but my son's primary doctor is Dr. Todd Porter. He not only knows his patients well, but he is the type of doctor who has been known to call after hours on Fridays or Saturdays to follow up to see how my son is doing after seeing him that week. They are open on Saturday mornings which is always a huge plus. They also have an on-site behavioral health group and Kristen Roy has been a blessing. read more

I agree with the other reviewer. The staff is not accommodating or helpful. At every single appointment we wait about 30 minutes in the waiting room and an additional 30-60 in the exam room. This is unacceptable when you have a sick or squirmy baby or toddler. I do like Dr. Todd but the rest of the staff leaves me underwhelmed. read more

I've been bringing my 6 year old son and 4 year old daughter here for years. Both were seeing Dr. Erin Ambardekar, but I recently switched my son to Dr. Spyridon Papadopoulo (Dr. Spero), only so he could see a male doctor. They are both awesome! I never feel rushed or that I don't have their complete, undivided attention. I find the negative reviews really confusing too. 30 minute wait? In all the years we've been going there, we've NEVER waited more than 10 minutes in the waiting room or another 15 minutes in the exam room. The front desk staff aren't gushing, but they are always pleasant and competent. I would definitely recommend Children's Medical Center to anyone looking for a good pediatric practice. read more

I'm also surprised by the negative reviews. My son has seen Dr. Mary for about 5 years. She is a wonderful physician and was very integral in having my son diagnosed with autism at the age of 2. Dr. Mary is always been helpful getting us the care we need. We have seen other physicians in this practice for same day appointments and I have always been pleased. There are times when we've had to wait for 20 minutes in the waiting area, although this is very common in children's practices, especially when the physicians are thorough and take their time to answer all of the questions a parent may have. I've never had a bad experience with the front staff nor have I waited for any real length of time in the exam room. read more

The doctors at this office are pretty good. The reason for the low rating is the office staff. It is nearly impossible to call and get someone on the phone. They have a complicated answering system that explicitly tells you that you may not press 0 to talk to someone. It asks you to stay on the line and hold, but then makes you leave a message anyway. Also, you have no hope getting someone on the phone during lunch time since they actually turn the phones off and send calls to the answering service from 12:30-1:30 everyday. You would think they could stagger lunches to provide a little customer service. Bottom line is that the doctors are decent enough, but if you want to easily schedule an appointment with them, look elsewhere. read more

My son is now 8 months old and we've been seeing Dr. Erin from the beginning. She's amazing. She's very easy to talk to and very patient with our questions especially considering we're new parents and worry about everything. I've never had any problems with the staff that other reviewers have mentioned. I've always found everyone to be friendly and helpful. However, I've never had to call them for anything. We've never had to wait on appointments. Once we waited for about 20 minutes for Dr Erin in the exam room but she apologized and told us she was with another patient, which I don't mind at all. She's gone over on our appointments before answering our questions so why would I be annoyed that she'll do that for other families? read more

My daughter, who is now nine, has been a patient at this practice since birth. Dr. Mary is her doc, but she has seen most doctors. I have unequivocally recommended this practice to friends who, I believe have been equally happy. It is easy to get same day sick child appointments. They have Saturday flu appointments. Like most practices, well child visits must be made months in advance to get in to see her regular doc. The staff is bilingual and helpful, and the practice feels welcoming and inclusive to all families. read more

CMC is a wonderful practice. Both of my daughters have seen Dr. Gini since birth, but we've see probably all of the other providers and they've been great. Like another poster said, you have the doctor's undivided attention during appointments and I really appreciate their methodical approach to treatment - they don't jump to treat, but also make you aware of anything that may be significant (either now or down the treatment road). We've never felt the need or desire to evaluate another practice. Excellent care, and we've never waited longer than 10 minutes, except for the time we were late for our appointment (and they allowed us to be seen anyway). Really knowledgeable nurses answering the phone when you have questions about a sick child, too. read more

I have taken my children to children's medical center since they were born. I have had great experiences all around. For new mom's, they have a lactation consultant on staff. Whenever my kids have been sick, they have always been able to quickly squeeze us in for an appointment. They are even open Saturdays until noon. The nurses and records people are very quick to return calls. It is a very nice facility, the doctors are all sweet and knowledgable, and my kids love it! read more

My kids see Dr Jay, who is consistently rated as one of the best pediatricians in Denver according to 5280 Top Docs. Dr. Jay is fantastic, calm, and has weird magical powers that make my kids sit calmly through any medical procedure. Over the course of 5 years, my kids have seen every doc there for various crisis visits, and I have liked every doctor there. The front desk isn't wildly friendly, but they are efficient and knowledgeable. Nurses are kind and patient. I have never had a long wait, and I have even had doctors come in on Sunday to help my kids with raging ear infections. read more

I've had a great experience with this practice so far, including my son's regular pediatrician, Dr. Todd and all of the other doctors we've interacted with. They have all been warm, knowledgeable, and wonderful at easing new parent fears without being dismissive. I was referred to Children's Medical Center as a facility that accepts my Cohealthop EPO insurance. I brought my insurance card in to be sure because there is some confusion between EPO and PPO policies. Yes, they assured me they wee an in network provider but before I could even make an appointment, I needed to transfer all of my son's medical records from his previous pediatrician which was a ridiculous feat itself involving many phone calls. After I finally got the records transferred, I finally made an appointment and brought my son in for a wellness visit. The staff were all very friendly and the visit went well until a month later. I received a bill for $236 for his checkup. When I called to find out why it wasn't covered since wellness checks are basically the only thing my ridiculously expensive yet inept insurance covers, I was told that dating back to January, Children's Medical Center was not an EPO in-network provider. Why then, when I enquired in April for my son's May visit did Cohealthop and Children's Medical Center both tell me I was covered. If you're going to accept a referral and insist I'm covered, why am I being billed $236. Huge thumbs down! read more

I love Dr. Debbie, to start this off positive but unfortunately we never use them again. The negative is their asst manager, who's name I do not recall, and their general manager who I was unable to speak to due to off day. I requested to speak to the owner. She would not get me to him. The short of it, my iPhone was stolen out of their office yesterday evening. We were the last patients there. The person who stole it made a mistake and turned it on and we were able to ping it and have an exact last location. The phone was 100% in the room and now it is gone. We were the last appt of the day. We filed a police report last night but today when speaking to the asst manager it became painfully aware they do not care and dismissed me pretty quickly. My wife and I don't make this accusation lightly and want to resolve it amicably but after today I am taking every single legal action I can to get the information needed to get justice. The city needs to know how they treat their patients and families. read more

I am so surprised to see the negative reviews! We have gone to CMC for 9 years now and have been very happy with it. Very rarely do we wait for more than a few minutes, in either the waiting room or the exam room. Sometimes it is unavoidable because there is a child that needs some extra time, so I try to be patient and appreciate that they would give me the same time if my kid was sick or injured. Dr. Jay Markson is terrific with kids and adults, and is very well connected with specialists at Children's Hospital. I have called many times to ask for advice and the nurses have always been very kind and helpful. Not sure what's mean about the front office staff, they always seem pleasant to me. We take our kids to CMC even though there are places closer to home, because we like the Saturday hours, same day sick appointments, and the fact that our kids always see an MD, not a PA or NP. read more

We have brought our three children here since they were babies. Our oldest is now in high school. Dr. Jay Markson is our primary doctor, who we love. We have also see Dr. Bud, Dr. Spiro, and Dr. Mary for same day appointments many times, who are also incredible. The other doctors in the practice are also excellent, we are sure. Every nurse is exceptional, kind, thorough, and helpful. The doctors know their patients and their patients' families, take meticulous notes, and are the best diagnosticians around (the most important quality of a doctor). This practice is comprised of the top doctors and their top nurses and a feeling of family and equality among the staff. The doctor's take throat cultures and do their own work. The doctors and nurses stay for the duration of their career. We see and talk to the same people every time, which is comforting to our children and to us. We drive from west Jefferson county for every visit and would never go anywhere else. (And, regarding the issue of waiting, if you do have a small wait, it is well worth it! The doctors and staff are just doing their best work with each patient.) read more
