We got called to the back and I appreciate them allowing both parents to go. The room was quite large. Had books and TVs(on ceiling too) to distract. They put on bluey which was very nice . My son does not like people touching him so I knew there would be screaming but the team did a great job of moving fast. My husband held him and they cleaned and flossed his teeth and did an x ray. Then the dentist came in and checked his mouth too. When we left he got a toy, sticker and balloon(which really helped him calm down)

His whole life, we have had to have him under general anesthesia I'm rider to get any and all dental done: day, cleanings, fillings, etc.. because of his sensory issues and flight/fight fears. In the past year, McGrady has been the first and only dentist who has managed to do cleanings in her office, winning my son's trust with her patient, calm and non-condescending manner. They are communicative and thoughtful in how they approach dental treatment. Sometimes my kids have had a harder time with traditional x-rays because of their sensory sensitivities and if needed, they will use a dental cone beam computed tomography machine which they have in their office as well. They also have something called a Solea laser which is leading-edge equipment that makes things like cavity repair faster and more comfortable. I appreciate dental offices that keep up with technology to improve the patient experience, especially for kids. (Yes, I used to work in the dental industry too!)
