The meals here were excellent. Breakfast was wonderful, such variety of fresh delicious foods! Our room was comfortable ( except it was unusually hot outside so it was pretty warm inside. This is a European problem -- with very old historical buildings. Next time I'll bring a little fan ). The pool, spa area was lovely. We were there at the time of a wine festival outside which became very loud and boisterous in the street, so it was noisy, but that was unusual. A great location for walking around the town. Such a great town, I could live there! Very convenient driving to castles, and nature parks, which was a bonus since we were there on business. I hope I can return some day!

The food was delicious, the dessert we had was fresh out of the oven. I can't say enough about this place. It's a must to stop here.

4 American adults, a toddler and a 12 month old with a bit of German speaking ability came here…read morebecause there was local food, kid friendly pasta, pizza - but mostly because there is a playground across the way... when we saw the white tablecloth we were a bit concerned that the impending mess from kids with pasta would be off putting. Everybody was super nice, all the food was good and the pizza was great. The kids got to play with blocks near the entrance and the park was a lot of fun. If you're at or near Neuschwanstein Castle, this is worth the drive.

Mister had a pizza and it was quite good - a nice crispy crust and good flavors. Because asparagus was in season, we both had a creamy asparagus soup to start - delicious!!! My entree was "ok" - it was described as a fresh asparagus risotto with saffron. Regretfully, there wasn't much asparagus flavor in the dish (despite big chunks of it) - the texture was very heavy and could have been much looser. The risotto was served in a basket made from a big Parmesan crisp - it was charming and tasty too! Good well priced wine list - yay! Smoking still allowed indoors - nay!
