The worst Chili's ever. Service and food was so bad that we (group of 5 for lunch) ended up with free food not that it was very edible. My company went for lunch and we waited over an hour for the food. Usually when you order a soup lunch combo you get the soup first....NOT. We also set there for 45 minutes without chips and salsa and all of our drinks were empty with no refill in sight. I do not recommend this Chili's. Go to the north side for better service and food. read more

Stopped in while traveling through. The wait staff was friendly and pretty attentive considering there was a large table she was also taking care of. Overall the restaurant needed a little cleaning there were dirty tables (floor included) near by which was likely a result of the server being busy. When our order was delivered I mentioned that the tea tasted funny and requested a water instead, the tea remained on my bill and we needed to get going so I didn't have a chance to ask them to remove it. I think if I had asked my server rather than another server it would have been removed, she likely didn't communicate the change to my server. read more

The service is so slow, I waited 40 minutes for an order I called in before I got there. Every time I go it alway less quality food than the same restaurant on the other side of town. They had one server doing 5 peoples orders and the manager on site didn't even try to make it go faster. They didn't even get the oder right after they took half and hour to make it. My daughter and her friend got lunch there today and asked for medium rare steaks but they were raw so they sent them back. Now my daughter is super sick and her friend also got sick. So I guess don't complain about your food unless you want food poisoning. read more

We never even got seated. We stood for ten minutes and no one even talked to us, there wasn't a line or anything and the waitresses would look up at us then walk off. Really disappointed and annoyed with the service. read more

The fajitas were good and our waiter KeShawn was great however our First drinks were terrible. I ordered the Fresca Margarita and my husband ordered the strawberry Patron margarita and both had so much sweet & sour mix in them that is all we could taste. It was like drinking liquid sweet tart. We let our waiter know then my husband got a glass of wine and I ordered an extra spicy Bloody Mary. Of course his wine was great but my bloody Mary tasted like water downed tomato juice. Not spicy at all. I had a Bloody Mary there earlier that day with my friend and it was fantastic! Super spicy and strong. Disappointed to say the least for my dinner date with my hubby. We sat in the bar area and it was super loud also between the football games and a fan yelling at every touchdown and his little kids yelling and scraping thier chairs loudly on the tile. Probably will visit for a quick lunch but other places are nicer for dinner. read more

Chilis salads are bad. Wilted lettuce, yellowing lettuce, then cover it up with a lot of Spinich .This is my 2nd bad experience with their salads. They really need to send their guy over to Skeets Grill to learn how to do a great salad. Won't be back. Waiters are great. read more

We waited for awhile before a waitress finally came and seated us, after the bartender yelled towards the kitchen for someone to come up. She seated us at a dirty table that was too little to fit two plates on. Another waitress was getting ready for a party next to us by dragging the tables and chairs across the floor, one by one. I don't think she could have made any more noise if she tried. The food is mediocre here, at best. We remembered why we don't come here and left before it got any worse. read more

Our family has given this place 3 chances and only once have I actually liked my food (a salad). Just tried the fajitas and I am pretty disgusted. I am almost certain the chicken portion was boiled because it had that chunky texture and no cook marks whatsoever. The steak portion came out bleeding. It was rare and mushy. I didn't request it that way but I've never been served bleeding fajitas at any other establishment that served fajitas. Tried to pick a lower cost margarita for a Friday evening, no prices on the drink menu so I go for a little mini margarita sampler which would equal one standard size... Turns out that was $9!!!! My husbands fries where blatantly heat lamped and had no flavor. When the server asked how the food was as she could see we were done, my hubby told her the fajitas weren't great (obvious by how little I ate of them), couldn't care less and brought our check. That's $55 we will never get back again. I am so done with this place. read more

We are so proud to have 2 Chili's in our town. I love both of them and my family frequents them often. We are greeted with warmth and always have a wonderful dining experience. The food you can depend on to be delicious and served by wonderful young people, who seem to be enjoying what they are doing. That is part of what makes the Chili's experience most lovely. read more

If it were not for the service I would give this location four stars but every time I have been there for the last year the service has been horrible. The help staff is somewhat attentive but the wait for your food is absolutely unacceptable. If you're in any kind of hurry pass this place by. read more

Horrible service. Miguel was distracted by his phone. I had to refill my own water, no one notice. I had to get my own Togo container. No one noticed. The managers came by everyone's table, but ours. Both Abilene locations do a great job. Good servers, food always done right, friendly atmosphere. I love the lunch specials.

If you do not like to go do the club thing but still like to go out and have a few beers/drinks Chili's is always a great place to go and take your younger children the atmoshpere is always great beer is always crisp and ice cold some of the best margaritas and long island ice teas read more

Chili's is one of my "go to" places when I travel for business. So, not wanting to venture far tonight I stopped in for a plate of fajitas and a glass of wine. Bailey was my waitperson and she was friendly and upbeat when I ordered so I thought it was going to be a fun evening. That ended quickly as she was unable to describe the difference between the steak and prime rib fajitas. I wanted whichever was served a bit more rare - went with the prime rib which was a mistake - mine not hers. It took almost 40 minutes to get my food (I'd just taken a phone call when I arrived so I knew the time) and the meat was overdone and the rest of the meal cold. She offered the manager who never arrived... Ordered a 9 ounce pour of wine, got a six. Overall, mediocre food (hey I know it's Chilis, wasn't expecting Stephen Pyles quality just the basics) and service even more tepid. There'll be no return trip here for me.... read more
