While, looking over the menus I couldn't believe how spendy it was here. But we gave it a shot...We thought for the spendy prices that this place would have Yummy food. Boy, were we WRONG! I got baby back ribs w/corn in a cob and fries. The ribs were sooo small and barely had any meat. The corn and fries were Alright but overall nothing special. I also ordered a Strawberry Margarita blended. But it barely had any ice in it and it was supppperrr strong. I'm not a drinker, I stick to fruity drinks but that drink def. got to me. My boyfriend had the bbq ribs w/corn in a cob and mashed potatoes. His ribs were so sadddd..They looked like charcoal. Absolutely no flavor, super hard, dry. (his exact words were "There were more bones then meat") We'll NEVER visit this restaurant again. We wasted about 800 pesos. Such a disappointment!!! We both got FOOD POISONING. The only thing that was some sort of alright was our waiter was very nice. I don't remember his name but he was very attentive. I think he needs to relocate to the restaurant across the way named Army Wings. People, please don't waste your time or money on this place.

My spouse and I ate the same thing for our entire Mexico City trip, and we managed to stay well, not even an incident of bubbly stomach. Then I ate something at this lounge, alone, while my spouse refused to eat or drink anything... We had an extra hour before our 11:20pm direct flight to JFK last Thursday, so we used this lounge for an hour prior to our boarding. The staff was extremely kind, welcoming, and professional. But... The space is tiny, dark, outdated, and in really bad shape, with uncomfortable and nasty looking furnishings. There was also a weird smell. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting. There was this nasty, scary looking, black crust covered the space between where the sinks joined the countertop. It was more like a gas station convenient store bathroom. I ate only 2 bites out of this tiny ham and cheese slider and a bowl of tortilla soup with lemon water because there was no food service on this red eye to JFK. My spouse did not touch anything in this lounge. So the culprit came from this lounge... The flight was only about 4 hours, and it took me only 1 hour to get my checked luggage and clear Global entry at JFK, and another 45 min to get home. By the time I got home, which was about 6.5 hours after I had the tiny amount of food and water at this lounge... Armagon! Nonstop watery diarrhea, vomiting, fever, chills and shivering, body aches, cold sweat, severe abdominal pain. I could not even make it to the ER. 2 days of hell. I was soooo sick. Pepto Bismuth helped a little. I just started getting better a few hours ago (but not completely). I would rather pay and use another lounge at this airport. AA, shame on you for keeping this lounge in this condition. It's disgusting.

The American Legion Post #2 in Mexico, established in 1920, has been located since the early 1960s in an ornate early 20th-century building at 25 Celaya, Condesa. After World War I, over 70,000 combat veterans moved to Mexico City to start a new life and escape the pains of war. Seventeen of these veterans decided to form the American Legion in Mexico City, as shown in the enclosed photo. Eventually, they settled on a building which used to be a brothel. Visit the second floor and terrace to see the rooms frequented by the Johns. It is not clear what connection these veterans had to the brothel, which was nicknamed "Lover's Roost."

This restaurant was just a short walk from my hotel in Roma Norte-along the walk I think I counted 4 or 5 Michelin rated restaurants on my path-they are everywhere in Mexico City. When we arrived at the restaurant they seated us right away and I noticed how great the atmosphere was in the restaurant-this was for sure a date night or celebratory type of place-I wouldn't say fancy or upscale but definitely a step up from my restaurants I went to so far in Mexico City. Upon sitting down we started with a couple of really pretty cocktails-. Strawberry Fields-A gin drink that is a refreshing twist on a Negroni-I enjoyed it very much and may have been the best cocktail I had in Mexico City.($185.00) Margarita De Perlas-a tequila drink with lime and orange infusion topped with pearls of tapioca-It was a great spin on a margarita with the added slightly sweet taste of tapioca pearls-decent drink.($220.00) For dinner we ordered a few items. Bowie Burger-a burger featuring a top sirloin and wagyu cross patty topped with Swiss cheese, roasted poblanos, bacon, guacamole and tortilla chips-This burger was so delicious-perfectly cooked and seasoned,so juicy-it was spicy but incredibly flavorful -loved it.($275.00) Curly Fries-Perfectly seasoned, super crunchy-very tasty ($85.00) Caesar Salad-well made salad with great tasting dressing and crunchy croutons.($130.00) This place is a very special restaurant in a city that is filled with special restaurants-I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mexico City, specifically the Roma Norte neighborhood-a true joy.
