We hired attorney Nicole Torres during what became an incredibly stressful real estate transaction. We were facing serious inspection concerns, including extremely high radon levels, and were desperately trying to understand our rights and protect nearly $40,000 deposit being held of our hard-earned money. Instead of feeling reassured and guided through the process, we felt increasingly anxious and confused. We repeatedly asked questions because we were genuinely scared of making the wrong decision and losing our deposit. Rather than feeling like we had an advocate in our corner, we often felt dismissed when we questioned the advice we were being given. We were advised that our inspection contingency had expired (we later learned it had not) and that our deposit could be at risk if we did not continue moving forward. We were also led to believe that the radon issues did not give us grounds to terminate the contract as it was "not part of the inspection process" and that we had signed a contract "for inspection only". As buyers trying to navigate a complicated situation, we relied heavily on her advice and guidance. What was most disappointing was that when we expressed concerns or asked follow-up questions, we did not feel heard. The conversations often left us feeling more intimidated than informed. Eventually, our discomfort became so significant that we sought alternate legal counsel because we no longer felt confident that our interests were being fully protected. The second opinion we received gave us a very different understanding of our contractual rights and deadlines, including the ability to terminate the contract and get our deposit back, which proved that the advice we received from her was not accurate and would have cost us $40,000!!!

Its been 4 years from my last review and Dean Lennon never quits. I was forced to pay him almost…read more$7000 for his legal fees, which at the end he admitted that I had already paid supplemental fees that the property management company, Great North,(GN) said I owed. Took them 6 months to figure it out after I gave them proof of funds. All his legal fees were based upon the inaccurate accounting from GN. Any reasonable person can determine that those legal fees are inappropriate due to their error. He threatened to put my condo in foreclosure if I didn't pay. I reluctantly paid because he lied to the judge in court. Now he provides a discharge of the lien with the wrong book and page. The registry can't process it. I paid them $105. Lennon must now provide a new discharge and now I have to make another trip to registry and pay another $105. Why doesn't he rectify his mistake and go to the registry himself and pay? He says he will reimburse me $105. Do I believe him? Afterall, he embezzled $7000 from me, why would he reimburse $105. Sad part, one the partners of the law firm condones this bad behavior. NEVER USE THIS FIRM.

These are a law firm with no prices, abusively high prices with no breakdown…read more No court. No phone call. I had advised I would pay and when and yet they filed in court. I paid in full. Then still received another bill. They should be taken to court for bad practice. Over $3,300 in fees for what? I did what I said I was going to do.
