They brought out our fish a second time and at least they didn't look burnt but there is a reason. They were undercooked. Not completely raw but undercooked. At this point just don't serve any more Fish. You obviously can't prepare it correctly. The manager explained "that it looks dark because of the spices in the batter". Cause that's a reason why food looks and tastes burnt. We paid, left a tip and went to another restaurant in Iron Mountain to wash away the taste of what we just experienced. I know this resort is up for sale and all I can say is to the new owner willing to pay the $4million price tag. Please focus on this restaurant and kitchen experience immediately.

The food order came out correctly but I think it may have sat under the heat lamp for awhile. Again girl, this is kind of what you are supposed to do, serve customers at a restaurant. And don't plan on getting anything extra like catsup, creamer, jelly, sugar, etc. it was a busy morning at 9am with two other tables, in an otherwise empty restaurant, that seemed ignored as well.

She explained how she'd wanted to go back to Italy for years and had finally gotten a chance earlier this spring. She raved about the food and the architecture and the prosciutto and her family. At one point she had the pleasure of attending a party with over 100 relatives. She was so passionate and so grateful and it was so fun to listen to her that the room could have been a dump and I still probably would have enjoyed my stay. But naturally with someone this enthusiastic the place sparkled. The retro furniture and the light blue tile were just awesome. And the flaming red carpet made me smile every time I looked at it. The cool room and wonderfully warm welcome made my stay a joy. And Gabriela, the next time I eat prosciutto I'll be thinking of you, Sweetie.

Back then my family camped in tents and we paddled over to Kopf's for bait ... and watching the moon landing. I stayed in a cabin that was modest in every way. Still, Pam made sure it was ready. Team Kopf's deserves kudos. So fifty years since the last time I was here the fishing is different in that the perch were almost completely replaced by rock bass. The walleyes barely made it over 14", yet the smallies were abundant. The camp site I stayed at from way back then was populated by great big RV campers. While I walked in towards the beach, I was attacked by dogs. I was bitten, and though the wound healed in 3 weeks, I was grateful I didn't get rabies. Every fishing boat I saw was equipped with sonar/electronics/electric trolling motors that made each fisherman an underwater/anti-submarine professional. Hence, the changes in fishing. There were flags on boats proclaiming support for those that would align with those choosing to subvert the defense and protection of the constitution. That was beyond disgusting.

Kira made our engagement session a truly extraordinary experience. She made us feel super…read morecomfortable, and helped us every step of the day. She started off by squeezing us in during the peak of fall colors, even though we contacted her very last minute, then followed through with tips and tricks for hair, outfits, makeup, etc. She stayed in touch regarding weather, making sure we were prepared, and even offering us a reschedule if we ended up with storms. The day of the shoot is a day that we will never forget. She was great company on our hike through the woods (and back), as well as throughout the entire session. There was no awkwardness, and we truly felt comfortable around her. Everything felt natural and effortless - she guided us through actions and poses, but we were still ourselves in each shot. She truly captured us as a couple, and also managed to turn a dreary day into an INCREDIBLY EPIC photoshoot. She used the weather and landscape to our advantage...the photos we got to peek at are breathtaking and unlike any I've ever seen. We truly can not recommend her enough, and plan on using her for all of our future needs - even though she's located in an entirely different state!
