All the usuals for an Asian buffet and they always offer Fried duck! Yum. For €8.90 lunch buffet you absolutely can't beat it! In the evening there is a Mongolen Buffet with "Cook to order" options. With eight large buffet tables, there is something for everyone! The sushi menu is larger in the evening with many more options. The staff is friendly, helpful and quick. Unfortunately, as many asian restaurants here, there is an unlimited buffet. It's good for money saving, but it's just not good food...no matter how recently it was prepared, it always lays here for a while. I took the buffet anyway, and wasn't blown away. Good, nothing more. The restaurant pretends to offer "Chinese and Mongolian" food. I didn't look for Mongolian dishes (I am sure there are some), but I clearly saw a large selection of sushis. I am not an asian food expert, but I am pretty sure sushis aren't from Mongolia...All in all, as all restaurants in Regensburg, this restaurant is NOT a Chinese or Mongolian restaurant. It is an "AsiaMix" restaurant, for everyday people who don't care as long as the personnel seems to vaguely come from the other side of the world. The place is huge, and, I must say, pretty well decorated. Such a large area could have looked like a canteen, but they did a pretty good job. It is not luxurious, but it looks good. They also have a large terrace for the summer days (both the restaurant and the terrace are on the 1st floor). Unfortunately, once again, the humongous buffet area lies in the middle. That's not nice. Experience. We went on a very crowded evening, I am fine with that (it's a good sign). But overall, because - again - of the buffet, this was a pretty bad experience. People running all over the place, queuing or moving to and from the food stands. The personnel was careless at best, stressed (and stressful) for the most part. Sub-standard, even for an Asian restaurant. I am willing to believe they do a better job when the restaurant is quieter though. This is just another undetermined vaguely Asian restaurant in Regensburg. It's nothing more, nothing less. Why the 2 stars? Because the food was ok. There is nothing much better around, so sadly, I may visit again.

And of course German, Russian, French. They provide two menus. Take the second one: it is written in Chinese with pictures for the illiterate (that would be me). The variety is sufficient and very authentic. Welcome to mainland China. The food was as good as the very friendly staff promised, and, I cannot stress enough, authentic. They're very kid-friendly, too. Small playground. In Regensburg, all Chinese places I encountered were diners with a buffet. This one is refreshingly different. We will definitely return. As always I rate by price value. It is 5/5.

Lots of good options from the normal beef, lamb, chicken, and turkey, plus some exotic ones like kangaroo, zebra and and crocodile meat, plus all the typical chinese veggies. The regular buffet items are topped off often and always hot. Dessert bar has good options from fruit to jello to ice cream. Service is soso which is why it lost a star, but the food is always good and if leave here hungry its your fault. Always recommend this place and we always have a family meal every time here every time we visit regensburg.

Then there is the classic Chinese food, like sweet and sour chicken, beef and onions, fried shrimp, duck rolls, white rice, etc. There is also those amazing mushrooms, I can eat 10 plates of those. There is also some sushi! But wait! There is more! You can have some soup, salad, fruits, desserts, and ice cream. This is just the dinner buffet though. I don't know if the lunch buffet is different. Other notes. There are steps leading to the restaurant. There is a small waiting area. The seating area is amazing and very elegant. There are restrooms but I didn't use so I can't confirm if there is a baby changing area.
